We Buy Any Car Rugby Elliott's Field Retail Park

I dont often write reviews but I have to say, my experience was very similar to the previous reviewer. My initial valuation was £2700 approx. The guy had a quick look around, took about 30 seconds, tested it ran etc. All seemed OK. When we got to adding on the damages etc, and admittedly there were a few, but nothing too serious other than a scratch and slight dent on the rear passenger arch. He gave me the usual spiel (I know its his job) and was generally pleasant, but with what he inputted, my car valuation went from £2700, to £740. The car was immaculate inside, but had some general wear and tear on the paintwork. He 'managed' to get the payment to £1200. What the massive difference in value came down too was a piece of rust on the bottom of the side of the drivers door which was no larger than a 50p piece. He then phoned his managed who I clearly heard say, he'd obviously graded it wrong and that seemed a lot of money to come off. I then questioned this when he came off the phone and he gave me some cowboy answer. I didnt mind all of this until I left, I felt once I'd declined, I was polite and said I didn't agree but felt he'd tried, but then it felt as soon as the deal was off, he didn't bother saying thank you, assured me I wouldn't get a better deal through Motorway, and today it sold for nearly £2000. Just feel it was a wasted opportunity for you & no need for the rudeness if a deal doesn't go your way.

A bit disappointed that the actual price paid was so much less than the quote. I would have preferred a more realistic quote. What was paid was only 40% of the quoted price. I was expecting less than the quote but that much was a surprise. The gentleman I met though was polite, courteous and professional, five stars for him.

Excellent service from Brett. We felt confident and happy in our meeting, with covid regulations being followed throughout. Brett was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, we were delighted to be offered £300 more than the part exchange deal we had been offered by a garage. Paid the extra to have the money paid into our account on the day, and it was in there by the time we got home. A fabulous experience and can well recommend it.

Quick, honest and transparent process with some friendly chatter too. Got a fair price for not having the hassle of a private sale, but also a fair price compared to other sell-at-auction competitors who gave online quotes. Price actually went up over online price before damage deductions. Hope my car of 12 years goes to good home, but I will never know - one downside to selling through this route.

The lady I spoke to on 20/09 was a god send, really professional. Explained everything and very simple process. I was aware the price of the car would reduce compared to the online one. I sadly didn't go through due to needing to pay the finance on the car off. I hope she is used as an example to train more staff after reading the reviews for this site.

Fantastic service! I was very skeptical when I first booked an appointment for valuation, but thought I had nothing to lose by giving in a go. I was amazed after the inspection that they offered me £550 more than I had it advertised on Autotrader for. Absolute no-brainer.

Would not use this branch ever again. The guy working there this afternoon is rude and will rip you off.Took my car there today and tried to knock £1100 off the value of the vehicle. Refused to sell it to him. Took to the Coventry branch exact same car on the same day they valued the vehicle fairly and as much as it wasn’t full asking price it was still £600 more than what this “employee” had valued the vehicle at.If your planning on selling go these then Coventry airport retail park is the place to go.They will give you a fair valuation for your vehicle and not treat you like you where born yesterday !

On arrival we where made to feel welcome. Tom the sales person at Rugby branch was very clear and honest about any defects on the car we solf for a fair price.Easy and painless experience.Jim

Very easy process, only thing I can fault them on is the fact the “valuation” you get online is completely ridiculous compared to the actual amount they claim your car is worth on arrival. Don’t be optimistic with the valuation they give online.The guy who was doing it was very friendly and professional. I would go back again.
