Absolutely amazing here. Food portions more than adequate and very scrumptious... Spotlessly clean and very friendly staff. Great value for money. Definitely worth a visit and look forward coming back soon. Thankyou.

Really good value for money had ultimate southern fried chicken burger and chips was nicely cooked and presented followed by a ice cream sundae was huge and only a fiver place wasn't busy but am sure because people out trick or treating would be busy. Staff really friendly will be back again

Lovely night had by me & 2 mates. Staff was amazing. Helpful, polite & welcoming. Food was lovely and good value. Place was clean and tidy. Would definitely visit again.

This was a late lunch for two (2pm - 3pm) hence the quiet atmosphere, which is fine. The food is standard pub food but nicely cooked and served promptly by very pleasant staff. The Steak & Ale pie and Ultra Veggie Burger were enjoyable, as were the two desserts. Two ales on tap on our visit, Pedigree and Hobgoblin Gold. Dogs allowed in the bar area.

Used to be a nice place to eat, now they don't have many food choices, no specials at allI had Surf and Turf....5 pieces of scampi, 2 Onion Rings and a bit of tough steak.My husband and our daughters had burgers and chicken burgers, they were tasteless.I'm sorry to say we won't be returning. Not a nice place to go for a meal, everything is now just as cheap as possible. I've had better food at the motorway services.

Too few front of house staff resulting in long wait to order at the bar. Unable to use app. because I had a promotional voucher to present. Very busy at 6:30pm. There was another long wait for our food, which we were warned about when placing order. The meals were fine and very good value. The few staff worked quickly, without any panic. I noticed that the restaurant was much less busy by about 7:15pm. Maybe spreading bookings may have helped. All in all : competent staff inside and outside the kitchen, let down by inadequate numbers.

We found a table easily because there were maybe only 20 people in the place despite it being well into the lunchtime shift.. The reason being - the cookers were broken but being fixed. The waiter was good and came over to explain the situation and gave us a menu with the very limited choice of meals. We decided on the steak and ale pie - with mash bacuse chips were off the menu and my husband went to the bar to order. Despite there being so few in the there, and only one other person at the bar, he waited a good while before being served. So far so good until we handed over our 30% off vouchers and tried to order our drinks. 'This drink isn't included in this offer' - 'that drink isn't included in this offer' and so on is what he was told. He gave up in the end - not the staff's fault, I know, but I would have thought that, with the problems in the kitchen, things could have been relaxed regarding drink options, if only to keep the customer happy. But no. And we won't be back, thank you.

Katie was extremely attentive and accommodating when setting up the booking of a very large party of 21. I had booked as four separate bookings but Katie still sorted things out so we could sit together. Katie has an extremely warm, friendly and approachable manner.We were moved to the bar area at the last minute due to having a dog, we actually preferred this side of the pub because it’s brighter and there’s a fire and a tv screen.The food was tasty and well presented. The service was also very good.Everyone really enjoyed the experience.We will definitely be back!!Thank you Katie.
