Beautiful place to have a coffee and cake! Lots of parking and you can choose inside or outside with the sheep! Pleasant servers - not cheap but worth the money!

Hole in the hedge is a wonderful small cafe, run by friendly, caring people who offer a level of customer service no big chain can match. Sandwiches fillings are generous and cakes delicious and varied. Some local produce is sold, honey etc as well.

Lovely cafe, very friendly. Sarah and Meg are so welcoming. Amazing choice of vegan cakes and food. Also have a choice of alternate milk, free of charge which is great.

Hole in the hedge cafe
Literally a Hole in the Hedge along the Welsh Lane between Banbury and Helmdon. Peaceful and a very friendly place where I have met up with a friend or a family member. I have seen the resident lambs grow, experienced the sunshine, and the cold or refreshing breeze, had a friendly chat, bought the local honey and enjoyed the hot chocolate made with oat milk. Simply all in all a pleasant experience and to be continued. Even through lock-down it was possible as an outing drinking their soup in my car while keeping warm and watching the baby lambs. An outside shed cafe which has been able to continue with all the Covid restrictions. Thank you
