Such a lovely welcoming place. Friendly staff, friendly locals. The food was delicious, we will 100% return! (Also got to fuss 3 dogs in the bar which is always a bonus in my opinion!)

Late Nov' 2023: Great pub out of season. Enjoyed a nice pint of Proper Job + Scampi & Chips, while enjoying the views from the restaurant over looking the Estuary.

If you are looking for a fun Saturday night out then pop in top the Beaver Inn in Appledore. Lovely staff, good food and a great atmosphere with a live band. The scenery isn't too bad either!

Lovely food, everything was delicious! Food came out exceptionally fast and friendly staff! Really enjoyed our meal, will definitely be coming back again!

After walking past the Beaver Inn a few times we decided to stop in for drinks on the patio. Great views and fresh air. A few days later we went in for dinner and had the best seafood chowder with a fresh wedge of baguette. A pleasant experience not overrun with dogs.

What a brilliant find ! Where we intended to go was closed and thank goodness or we would not of found this place. Staff were very helpful, we took our nearly 96yr old dad with us who couldn't manage the steps very well so we sat in the Pool room which was fine. The food was delicious, we all had different meals and all enjoyed them very much. Thank you to the young man (Manager I think ) who was serving us nothing was too much trouble and the young girl who brought us our drinks and meals. We will definitely call in again

Very welcoming in this locals-use pub and restaurant. The fish chowder was exceptional, and the fish cake superb. Hand cut chips were the best I've had for a long time.

We drove here yesterday to this lovely coastal village and met a lovely couple who told us about this pub and said its a must! Live open mic night on a Sunday night. It's unbelievable! So welcoming the locals are beyond friendly the atmosphere is unreal! It was packed out but everyone moved up to Accommodate us with no fuss. Everyone was joining in with the singing people of all ages enjoying the vibe together. Steve is the manager extremely polite as we're his amazing staff all worked so hard to keeping the drinks flowing. Perfect pub right by the sea. Pool table clean modern toilets - superb! Best 1st night of our holiday x

Great as always.. despite it being my ‘local’ when I was (much) younger I can’t recall ever eating here- but came here last night with the family and it was lovely. We all had different meals and all were perfect.Lovely views, lovely atmosphere- thanks a lot :)
