Lovely community coffee shop run on volunteers. Lovely place to hang out over a coffee and cake or to sit and have a sausage roll or sandwich whilst working or studying :)

Mitre Coffee
The Mitre was a great space to go for a coffee before, but the new introduction of batch brew filter coffee has elevated it to new heights.Norwich coffee snobs (myself included) need a filter coffee fix in their lives! The Blue Bear coffee on offer today was fantastic and the service was top notch. Highly recommend.

This is my third attempt at having coffee at Mitre. The last 2 attempts did not go well, with the coffee machine not working on one occasion and the outlet ready to close at 1500hrs on another. This time around, I did get my coffee which was good but there was limited selection of food with just one lonely sandwich remaining at lunch time. And so I went for a croissant, which I had to tear into as it was cold and feeling sorry for itself. The service and ambience were OK, but all in all a rather disappointing experience. Maybe I was expecting a lot and others might have better things to say.

Mitre used to be one of my favorite coffee shops in Norwich, and I used to go there every other day until they changed their ceramic mugs to plastic-looking and feeling cups, which they think are so cool! The new cups smell and look dirty, affecting the taste of the coffee

There's a Nordic quality to the interior of this former traditional pub. The coffee (flat white) was superb. The staff personable, and the interior stylish, spacious and temperate. Was a perfect 20 mins.

Such a lovely vibe here! Beautiful natural light, spacious yet cozy - a brilliant quiet place to set up camp and study for the day. Coffee was nice and the pastries were lovely!

Very disappointed. They no longer serve the old menu and the food choice is now limited to few cold pastries. The sausage rolls had a nice flavour but served cold - not good. The cheese scones here used to be wonderful but they are no more. What a shame.

I love coming to the Mitre to work. Tasty drinks and treats, and Sarah is such a friendly face to see. Dog friendly, which is a huge bonus!

Mitre Coffee
A nice, open and airy coffee shop with lots of of space and welcoming staff, it's dog friendly too. Having been caffeinated out at the point of visiting I opted for a milkshake which was very good. Will look forward to trying their coffee next time we visit.
