Wonderful gallery, love all of it. Garden is great. Spent some time looking around so felt a bit peckish at the end. The cafe has limited but scrumptious food. Two hot choices of food on offer with a gorgeous salad and pastries and sandwiches. Took off one star because 1. Bad choice of seats in the cafe, really quite uncomfortable for a long lunch, and 2. When it is busy, the queue is held up further by not having enough menu displays so people can decide either before they join the queue, or while they are waiting. This would eliminate the discussions at the pay point! The staff were working hard though and all very friendly. A decorative billboard at each entry point showing the options, and price points at the counter would enable a more swift and smooth service. PS. The cappuccino was delicious too. Thank you.

Lovely Museum a short walk from Pulteney Bridge. Fantastically grand building (which I believe was used in the filming of Bridgerton) with the very picturesque Sydney Gardens beside. Two floors of exhibition showcasing well preserved ceramics, oil paintings, and items alike. Has a tea room, gift shop, and toilets.

Beautiful museum with a large garden and an outdoor cafe. The back garden is really big with a playground for kids and a lot of trees. The whole area is very well kept

Beautiful museum and grounds. The grounds and park behind boast lovely tree lined paths that run over the railway bridge and river. A playground on-site for kids and a garden cafe and ice cream seller. The architecture is beautiful and can be seen right down the road into central Bath.

I came here because it's the set of Lady Danbury's house from Bridgeton. You can have tea here if you want. Some of the rooms were being renovated.

I'm a great fan of this museum and art gallery, because I've seen some fantastic exhibitions here over the years. I'd advise keeping an eye on their website to see what's on and being selective about what you go to see. Not everything will appeal to everyone. That said, I have never been disappointed when I've visted, always finding something of personal interest. The cafe is good too for snacks and refreshemnts, and the car park is very handy - right next to the museum. To sum up what drives this venture, I can do no better than quote from their website: Our vision is to make the Holburne an open

Whenever we visit Bath we always go to this museum it isn't particularly large but it has a substantial and very varied collection of art from paintings to jewelry to decorative items. It also has a lot of interesting small variety items of historical and educational value and it has some interactive material that is interesting for both adults and kidsThe staff are always very happy and helpful and the museum also always has changing exhibits on displayEasily the best museum in Bath and one of our favourite museums around the worldIn terms of duration it really depends how much time you spend looking at everything to really discover everything in the museum it is probably about a 2 hour visit

Mix of permanent and temporary art exhibitions, not a huge space, but big enough to make the admission price feel worth it. I’m glad to have come when Gwen John was being exhibited. Touched by her intimate style.

A wonderful Museum on the edge of Bath city centre. It has an excellent permanent collection which it supplements with interesting, complimentary temporary exhibitions. The beautiful original building has been expanded with a striking modern extension which makes the whole building accessible and provides a lovely, spacious café.The grounds around the museum are very attractive. They open out onto the public park next door.
