Chaplins Garden Machinery

Went for some advice about garden machinery, explained my requirements. I received excellent advice, no hard sell, and I bought very reasonably priced products (petrol strummer and pruner) and the kit is spot and did the job perfectly. Very happy and will go back. Loads better than ordering on line, because I ended up with the right kit for the job.

I have had service and supply at the best professional level for a range of garden machinery. I have never been let down and prices are always competitive and fair. I recommend this company and personnel.

The proprietor has no grip on what customer service is. He is very offensive, rude, aggressive and confrontational.In this day and age of Internet parts availability I strongly feel that local businesses should be supported. I also strongly feel that this respect should be reciprocated. The person that runs this business has absolutely no grip on customer service. He doesn't deserve to be in business.I will no longer feel guilty buying online mower parts for a quarter of the price.I cannot remember a time, ever, when I have been treated so awfully by a business owner. I am, as you can probably tell, quite shocked and appalled at my experience with this business. If my advice is of interest to you; avoid any contact with Chaplins Garden Machinery. And if the person that runs the business happens to read this, you should be ashamed of yourself!

Recently purchased an ECHO Shred n Vac amongst some other items. Advice and knowledge from Simon and the team was first-class and I am extremely happy with the proficiency of the products I purchased. I have been a customer for many years and have not once been disappointed.

Having used Chaplins Garden Machinery for in excess of 15 years, I have found their service and advice exceptional. Their repair costs are realistic and turnaround is simply second to none. I’ve used them for the supply of new equipment and have never been disappointed with the products or after-sales service. I am able to carry out limited repairs myself and their advice and supply of spares has been priceless. I do not usually recommend companies but with Chaplins I have no problem sending friends and neighbours there.
