Reviews are low for this surgery and I get that due to the frustration with getting an appointment or getting told to call again the next day once waited for 45 mins to get through. They have made changes to their telephone system which I have not tried as of yet. However the GPs when you see or speak to them are excellent. All prescriptions i order online are always processed. Overall it's a good surgery taking away the initial call to get through

You can't get though to them and when you do you're welcomed by rude receptionist who will tell you that the reason for my call is not important and make me feel like I have bothered the receptionist. Horrible experience. There is a younger lad that is very polite and helpful but don't often get to speak with him 9/10 it will be life depressed receptionist who will talk to you in a rude manner and tone, but if you were to even mention it - they will just ban you from the surgery. Disgusting

Doctor completely shot down the idea of me suffering from weight gain due to medication.Receptionists can be hit or miss. Was told to email for a needed letter, when email sent, was told to ring again. Really annoyed me as felt my time had been wasted.Waiting times are annoying , but understandable.

It seems like the receptionists are taking the brunt of what is caused by an over stretched NHS, the abuse they face is not warranted. The triage system works and is important so that priority can be given, the walk in centre is reccomended because if they are full you can recieve care there which I don't see the problem in if the problem is important. I've never had an appointment refused for my child if needed and have always recieved an appointment I've needed because I only call when an appointment warrants a doctor or nurse. Please respect the receptionists as they do not control the funding or resources given to the NHS, if they don't sound happy it's probably because they have faced some abuse by a previous angry patient

I have nothing but high praise to all of the staff who work there. As they are all great from the reception to the nurses and the GPs.It is just hard to get an appointment when you need one. Which can be frustrating and that it can anger people. I wish there was more to be done to help us access the doctors when we need them.Else my review would be 5*.I'm sure they are doing all they can to continue to improve this. Please be respectful to all staff there and try not to abuse them.

This surgery is a joke . You are told to ring at 8am for an appointment. I tried 110 x to try get through but they cut the phone off. After trying for 1.5 hrs I finally got through to a receptionist who told me there was no appointments and to call again tomorrow. On 1 occasion I needed to see a doctor as I was struggling with my breathing but guess what no appointments. I was blue lighted to hospital after visiting the walk in centre.

Such a shame to write this as the doctors are lovely .. but unfortunately I’ve had to call for my adult son over the last few months for appointments who never normally needs to see a doctor …I find most of the receptionists can not wait to tell you to go to the walk in centre which I find bizarre . I find them cold and as if you are being a real nuisance to them .. I had a real upsetting problem this morning with my son no option to call in the afternoon it’s call at 8 am or nothing after him plucking up the courage to tell me something .. it’s like there is no heart in anyone there!! it’s awful !! I feel for anyone that worry’s and a simple 2 or 3 min chat with a gp would make that worry go away .. this surgery need some training on bedside manner for patients they never know how the person on the other end of the phone is feeling .. the abruptness is next level ..

Doctors and nurse are so understanding and have been really helpful during my pregnancy and now after my pregnancy with my little one. Were a couple of occasions where forms weren’t given to me till the last minute when I had to ask for them as I didn’t even know about these forms till my work requested them, they sorted this straight away for me (thank you to the lovely receptionist that sorted this for me) but they are so busy and you never see the same midwife at the practice which isn’t their fault. Some of the receptionist on the other hand (not all) are so rude. You call up to discuss what’s wrong and they are very stroppy with their tone of voice and even at the desk are not welcoming and smiley. Other receptionist I have spoken to at the practice on the other hand have been lovely and it’s been such a relief speaking to them to the point I have voiced to my family, who are also with the practice, how much of a relief it is to finally be talking to a receptionist who actually tries everything they can to help. There has been occasions where appointments have been booked in wrong after being told everything is sorted which I understand mistakes happen when they are busy but it has been a few times. I personally feel your job as a receptionist at a doctors practice is to be welcoming and understanding which some of them are rather than being very unwelcoming and making you feel uncomfortable.

Do not bother. If you ring for appointment at 8 good chances are you will be told by rude staff to ring tomorrow, or on the off chance you get to speak with someone and ask for call back you might get it 8hr later or not at all

Surgery is very intrusive into personal life and opinionated. They have personal opinions on what you should or should not do which has nothing to do with medical science, facts, requirements, regulations. Oh, and they called me fat after taking my weight. Absolute rubbish.
