Felt necessary to write this review based on the conduct of this companies employees. My company have ordered from East Kent Timber before and really did not expect to be spoken to in such a way. My acquisition manager rang to order some fisher board, to be told delivery wouldn't be until Friday week, bank holiday weekend coming up, so we accepted Friday. Started to place the order, stating we needed the wood Friday for the sales person to start being sarcastic about the date in an aggressive rude way and put the phone down. Rang back, and spoke to the manager, Colin. To be treated in the same way. Is this the way to treat customers. Will not be using them again and ordered from Kent Bespoke Joinery.

Excellent quality products and reasonable prices. Average/mixed customer service.The current setup for customers amidst covid is a bit of a joke though and needs review.I was told to leave the shop" area and wait to be called in

2022 - And again, same guy Sam, excellent team, thank you2021 - Very pleased with my timber and Sam the delivery guy is first class! Polite, called beforehand, carefully unloaded and stacked the timber, a real credit to the firm. Many thanks and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys.

Ordered Tuesday afternoon and sleepers were delivered Wednesday morning, excellent service. Driver also happily took sleepers into my back garden, very happy.

Ordered some timber, specified 2 and 2.5 meter lengths so I could get it in the car, waited a month as the ticket got lost, didn't receive an apology of any kind.On the day I went to collect the wood, some lengths were 2 meters, the rest were 5 meters, I was offered a hand saw in the car park. A Practical solution, but not good customer service, no apologies for this mistake either.Obviously they were busy, and not at their best here.They made up for it by delivering the wood to my house for free. A brilliant save, thankyou so much for that.I got the wood for an excellent price and the quality is absolutely beautiful.I was made to feel like I was being a difficult customer for not accepting an incorrect order and had to wait a while before I could speak to a manager. The manager was very professional and explained why the wood couldn't simply be cut to length in the mill at that time.To summarize, great Wood, poor organisation, mixed customer service. I would use them again
