I have used GC for many years for multiple jobs. I am always happy with the work carried out and never have any issues or complaints. Everyone who has attended jobs from the workforce have been helpful, polite, respectful and good time keepers.

GC Building & Preservation Ltd have done several renovations to my house & have done an excellent job on both occasions. Grant Worman is like a 'whirlwind' but brings action and precision to the job not disaster. He makes sure the job is completed on time & to cost & after care service is also great any snags are dealt with promptly. Really appreciate the time and care GC put into renovating our home. Not only in the actual work that took place but also in helping us design and discuss the changes we made.

We purchased our property in 2013 and it needed extensive refurbishment. Being new to the town we approached the estate agent who acted for the seller of the property for a recommendation to a local builder. We were recommended GC Building & Preservation Ltd. and we have been absolutely delighted with the level of workmanship, reliability and courtesy extended to us. Grant Worman, one of the partners is like a whirlwind around his building sites as he marshals all the different trades into place at the right time and ensures the highest level of workmanship. We did obtain quotes from two other builders at the initial stages but felt more comfortable with Grant who we immediately found was on our side in keeping costs to the minimum without compromising the end result we were seeking.

They claim concise planning. They underestimated on 1300 bricks by a couple of hundred . The revised price rose by £2600. How does that work? It's not concise planning for sure. I was forced to cancel the project with them. Not to be Trusted.

I hired GC to replace some steel lintels above the front windows together with the owner of the flat below both sets of lintels needed doing also a small flat roof.This job cost us £30000Upon completion the rain poured in through a hole they had left in the wall and there was building rubble and blocks of tar left in the garden and tar left all over the bamboo floor in the bedroom and the brand new bathroom was left in a terrible state and dust and plaster board and tools left behind.They initially came back and fixed the hole in the wall only for there to be another leak in the flat roof which they have not fixed and its been nearly a year now I have chased and chased with emails to prove and pictures if any one wants to see them.I have no option but to hire another builder before winter to fix this problem.They had the money and doesn't look like they are coming back in my view Craig is a bully and one to avoid.
