Lovely cafe. We always come here for dinner when we are in Sunderland. The food is home cooked, fresh and cooked to order so always piping hot. The service is fantastic. Really reasonable prices too. Today we had 2 x pie, chips and peas, a bowl of fries and 3 cans of coke for less than £33.

I got a cheese and ham panini, a mocha, and some pork scratchings. The Panini came with potato wedges and side salad/slaw. It was all pretty great, and the place is nice and quiet and relaxed inside, at least at lunchtime.

Just had the loveliest bacon sandwich and the best cup of tea.Service was quick and everything piping hot. Lovely seating and very clean, paper on the table to read.Highly recommend.

Just popped in for a quick coffee and a bite . Nice coffee, cud have been a little stronger, but that's just my preference. The winter ham broth with dumpling was just like a big hug in a bowl. Was obviously home made, lovely flavour, ham to veg ratio just right and dumpling was softest I've seen in quite a while. Decent portion as well. Polite friendly staff. Well worth a visit if in the area.

Just popped into day on my lunch break for a Festive Bun which was delicious! The staff are so kind and friendly, they couldn’t do more for you. The food is beautiful and reasonably priced, truly a hidden gem in Sunderland. You can tell all the staff really care about this cafe and I love coming in. Thank you ladies
