The inevitable demise of queer junction...Sadly I feel this place will not stand the test of time and nothing has been learnt from such venues as OMG, Fuel and countless others that have tried and failed and now Queer Junction is following with the same format. I went Saturday night with friends, the venue is good and the bar and door staff very friendly, no issues there. However, this outdated concept where there is a dried up old drag queen playing old music no one wants to hear and then talking all the way through it by means of self promotion, this whole thing is tired and doesn’t seem to work in Sheffield...We left at 4am the place was half full all night walked past Dempsey and people are waiting to get in at 4am this is crazy. I’m not a fan of Dempsey but they have a formula that works and people seem to like, such as affordable drinks, current and popular music played by a DJ and not a drag act speaking all the way through it and calling people out in an attempt to embarrass people on the dance floor... I think if you want to compete and ultimately succeed then you need to consider this and definitely in making changes, though sadly I feel it’ll fall on deaf ears and the only thing we’ll hear is the closing of the doors for the last time, very sad...

Left uncomfortable due to seeing staff member taking pictures of everyone’s ID’s on his personal phone. When questioned he couldn’t give me an answer. Wouldn’t return! Please be careful!

Ventured here on our first trip to Sheffield, the security was diligent, which isn't to be discouraged. However, what was totally unacceptable was that after our wallets were searched, my partner discovered later on, at another venue, that his vital medication had been removed without any warning. We returned, and they admitted they took the medication and we were encouraged to enter the venue for free as an apology, which we refused. Their security needs to address their procedures as this could be very dangerous for people who hold prescribed medication.

this place was terrifying. Absolutely should not be advertised as a queer club in any shape or form. Me and my friends felt so unsafe and left almost immediately. cant believe we payed 7 quid to get in. We were scared we were going to get hatecrimed.

Worse than bad. Friend got stiffed on drinks offer, and no loo roll despite informing bar staff, who shrugged shoulders and basically said take it or leave it. Lazy, disinterested and not what Sheffield needs.

A great new place, excellent range of drinks at great prices, my favourite Zubrowka bison grass £5.50 a double. Ace music, small but colourful. Great place to meet new people. Soon to have a sauna too.

I'm straight and i proper enjoyed the night with my mister here. Best bar staff around and the music is always banging. Definitely recommend it to friends and family and definitely going again.

Man goes by Dan. 5 foot something wears gloves and a beard. Takes advantage of his post as a bouncer and I have evidence of him using his authority to attempt to seduce a customer. He needs to be removed from his post ad serval times I've witnessed this around Sheffield where he's worked

absolutely awful, give it a 0. my friend was assaulted and the bouncers did absolutely nothing about it ever after my friend group told them multiple times. when the situation got worse on the other side of the barrier, they just said “it didn’t happen on our premises so it’s not our problem”
