This is our second time visiting the thrasher in Ipswich and it did not disappoint.We choose the Sunday deal that was £12.99 for two mix ups (there was other options but I love a mix up) and two for £4 Non alcoholic ciders (huge amount of drink in comparison to a £2.90 coke).Service was really good, everything ordered and paid for through the Greene King app - really recommend easy to use and pay electronically. This way you can leave when you want without hanging around for the bill and feeing you have to tip. I would have tipped our server she was great, sorry I don’t know the name.Plenty of parking.Plenty of choice.We was disappointed that there was no Sunday roast available.Toilet facilitates were clean and well looked after.Lovely pub we will continue to visit for a nice reasonably priced mea out.Thank you to all the staff working Sunday evening on 5th March 2023.

Really disappointed! My wife and daughter both ordered beef roast and I ordered a medium well rump steak. The beef that came with the roast seemed like it was carved a few hours or even a day before and was reheated and burnt as it was so tough! My steak was well over done and burnt. A real let down as we were so looking forward for the evening. The only decent food out of all was the nachos. We couldn’t finish our food and had to go McDonalds as we were starving! We won’t be returning here ever again; it was our first and last.

Was a very nice warm welcome from Channel and made me feel at home. Good quality of beer.Watched the football and the menu was quite tempting.Price very reasonable.Toby carvery and harvester opposite were empty and hungry horse pretty busy.Need I say more.Thank you for a very nice night

Plesently surprised. On previous visit some years ago the tables and menus were sticky. Overall looked tired. But now has had a refresh. Food is hot and plentiful, it's never going to be 5 Star but good value for a good time with family

Maybe it's ok for a drink outside but I would not go back for a coffee or meal. It was tacky. Latte and mocha taste horrible. My main was missing houmous and jalapeños. Since I said to waitress she just advised that they have no more. No apology nothing. All sauces by the full on radiator.2 starts only for the free parking and cheap prices.

Good quality products and plenty enough for a full English. The hashbrowns were cooked to crisp perfection, lovely runny egg and tasty bacon. Very friendly bar staff and extremely polite table waiter. All in all, well worth a visit! Bravo!
