I used Bluebird Care South Bucks for the 2nd time to provide Live-in Care respite in our own home for my wife who has Vascular Dementia. On both occasions I have been delighted with the Live-in Carers and the support the team in the office have provided not only us as a family but also the Live-in Carers (coming out to meet with us and the Live-in Care regularly). They adapt to dealing with my wife on both her good and bad days. They provide great support and help me look after the home. It also has allowed me to have time to myself and provided a bit of companionship for me too. I would absolutely recommend this company.

I have been working for Bluebird care for 11 years now. The office staff are very supportive and friendly. The domiciliary and live in carer's are lovely to work with and we always go that extra mile, to make sure our customers are always happy and safe in their homes.

We have using Bluebird for a few years now on a live in basis for my mum. She has always had fantastic care, handovers between staff are good and we the family are looked after too! Always great communication between myself and the carers and her current carer in particular goes above and beyond her duties; recently she got mum ready (including reassuring her worries) for her granddaughter's wedding, styled her hair etc. Everyone said how well mum looked :-)Her carers have always done more than just cater to her basic needs, they have become part of the family and they join in with her quiz show and drama watching, providing her with the companionship that we can't always give her. During the lockdowns of 2020 and 2021 we were reassured that mum wasn't alone when we couldn't be there. This was really important for us.The carers always say they are just doing their job but I think they go beyond that :-)

We changed carers to Bluebird a month ago due to issues with the last care company, apart from a few teething troubles, that were to be expected. The experience on the whole has been a good one. Issues we have had have been corrected promptly and the results can be seen to improve quickly. Also any contact with the company has been dealt with immediately or confirmation has been given of receipt of the message, appropriate action taken, and feedback received. Discussions of what care and family expectations have been taken into account and again appropriate action taken. The companies understanding and discussions about the appropriate care have always ended on positive notes and we are pleased with the care given and the understanding the company has for all the issues surrounding the care of a family member.

Recently my mother had a fall and resulted in her being in hospital for sometime. Whilst my mother was in hospital I started looking for a care company that would fit her needs and could provide her with excellent care. After talking with at least 6 local companies it wasn't hard to make the decision to follow my heart and go with Bluebird. From calling to enquire about care to having home visit to see what mum would benefit from has been outstanding. All the carers that visit my mother are professional, kind and really helping my mother in everyday life and giving her the best possible care I could ask for. I would recommend this company to anyone who is in my situation and wants a love one to have the best care. Bluebird thank you for making this terrible accident so much easier and less stressful for me and my family.
