Carswell Golf Club

Lovely course and friendly professional staff. I muddled up my tee times and pro sorted it out and even helped to fit in an extra guest. Would give them 6 stars if I could.

Fabulous golf course with friendly staff and well kept fairways and greens and shrubs. There is and abundance of wild life on the course including Kites, Hawks, Pheasants, Hares and woodpeckers.

Nice drive up to a beautiful looking part thatched clubhouse and pro shop. Very friendly team who booked us in, showed us the changing rooms and how to get to the 1st tee. Lots of advice about different holes which was greatly received as it was our 1st time there. The golf sadly was a challenge due to what can only be described as a daisy epidemic. Even the fairway was so covered it took a few minutes to locate the ball. The 1st cut off the fairway was even worse and required substantial searching if you didn't have a marker for your ball. Ongoing work including a fairway being cut and lots of greens being watered meant we had to wait for ground staff to finish before playing on. After the golf the clubhouse was visited and we made good use of Dee's Bar". A good selection of food and drink was available and proved to be very tasty. To sum up

Great course really enjoyed our day at carswell Golf Club made even more special by the friendly staff. We Will definitely be going again.Big thank you to Dot and Dave for a great game of Golf.

Course is in great condition greens were ok but little faster would be preferable , overall very nice 4 stars if greens were faster

Played with tempory greens 6 in total which spoilt the round, not an overly challenging course. Pleasant staff though and worth a quick round.

Just had a lovely round of golf at Carswell.The course was magnificent. A credit to everybody at the club.Staff are extremely polite and helpful.

Golf course was very tired but maybe to be expected at the end of the winter. Fairways desperately need attention. I will not be in a hurry to play the course again. The clubhouse though was good, food tasty and staff friendly.

Not only a beautifully maintained golf course with proshop and wonderful clubhouse, but a B&B too. Lovely accommodation, dog friendly and delicious breakfast. So peaceful with views across the golf course.
