Have been shopping here for years when it specialised in cheese but now it’s even better.Using his extensive knowledge of both cheese and meats Paul has transformed this into a foodie destination.We visit most weekends buying the every changing ‘charcuterie for two’ and a few of the thoughtfully selected cheeses. For excellent service and choice there is nowhere better.

Excellent place to buy cheese, since the ones for sale are all in peak condition and the lady serving is extremely knowledgeable. For me it is always a good sign that your purchases are wrapped loosely in greaseproof paper, rather than tightly in clingfilm, so that they can breathe properly.

Truly you’d need for an evening in, entertaining friends, or special picnic. Really nice selection of local treats, and English wines and spirits, ( as well as some tasty bottles from the rest of the world.) Cheeses are thoughtfully chosen and fresh, along side homemade breads and cakes. Prices seem quite competitive too, and friendly knowledgeable service is always on offer. Wish I’d known of it sooner.
