Basset Down Balancing

Turns out I left my MX5 in very good hands. You have to be so careful, I have been ripped off in the past. Needed rusted sills sorting to pass MoT along with cambelt change and service. I don't think my car will rust again .it is obvious even to my untrained but critical eye that not only were the sills replaced but the whole underside of the car had been undersealed after other rust I had seen, and a lot I hadn't had been removed and treated. All done at a sensible price Many thanks BD. I'll be back.ps Got a go in their Rocketeer V6. Speechless. Simply awesome in the true sense of the word

Andrew is a total idiot completely incompetent told me it will take 2 weeks and he took 7 weeks to do it, when i said about the time period at 3 weeks he got funny and said come and take it away then, then you wont believe this, the idiot took my pistons off of the con rods and didnt even mark them, this is the first roles of engine building, and the idiot didnt no this, when i said about this he said it was my fault, how can that be i sent them up joined, DO NOT USE THIS IDIOT

If you need a engine rebuilt then take it there. They balanced a V8 crank and piston set up for me, fab job. If you are a Mazda lover and need work then again they are the people.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. I had my low power UK 90hp mk1 MX-5 'fixed' at Basset Down with full power camshafts, 3-angle valve grid, head skim and a few other tweaks. The car is totally transformed and has been trouble-free since (6 months + ). Overall I was very happy. Not cheap, but a fair price for quality workmanship.
