Tesla Supercharger
Another brilliant Tesla Supercharger at Charnock, Chorley. It was a welcome break on a long road trip, and the charge was fast and reliable as usual. The restrooms were clean and spacious, and there were plenty of fast food options nearby. I enjoyed a delicious burger and fries while waiting for my car to be ready. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was easy to find. I highly recommend this Supercharger to anyone who needs a quick and convenient recharge.

Plenty of chargers. Beware if you are coming south as the small road connecting southbound to northbound has recently had a barrier added. Ramada Inn will only share the code if you are a guest.

Good supercharger station in grounds of Ramada hotel. Very fast, easy access. No problems of access or queuing. Of course, once charged you have to move off the site onto the main service area car park and that is a different world. Congested, noisy and unpleasant as are the facilities themselves. Toilets not very clean queues for ladies.

Charged M6 northbound to Lakes on 8/9 and charged again returning M6 southbound on 12/9, by u-turning at the next junction south. For southbound, my Tesla satnav was directing me to u-turn junction to the south then u-turn junction to north. A Tesla arrived through the restricted barrier, so I chatted to the driver. 4-digit PIN + got me through. Ramada didn't know" the PIN

Easy enough to find & plenty of spaces available when we arrived (Friday AM).The path between the chargers and service station is very wet and muddy, could do with some paving stones putting down.Service station itself fairly average.

You immediately turn off the slip road. Once at the charger, their are toilets in the Ramada, and the garage is the closest shop. If it’s wet you’ll get muddy walking to it though. The longer route to the main services is mud free and has a crossing.
