Came across initially as a nice guy and friendly. We agreed a price for some work, but I received a more competitive quote on the day he was due to come out (not good timing I admit) and asked if he could match it.I appreciate it wasn’t ideal timing which I apologised for, but the appropriate response would have been to say you can’t match that price and our price has been agreed, take it or leave it.Instead Sean decided to throw a bit of a huff, proceed to call me unprofessional, make remarks about my heritage, in his words “as an Indian man, I know you believe in karma and that’s what’s coming to you.” He also made off the cuff comments about the other quoter calling them desperate and amateurs.1. Firstly I’m not indian, even if I was not all Indians believe in karma. Please don’t make that assumption.2. Secondly the quoter is not an amateur, they’ve been in the industry since 1985 and are fully NPTC qualified.
