Lurgan Veterinary Clinic

I’ve been to the vet over five times in the first year with my little toy poodle pup Rosie. She has a very sensitive stomach and has been in and out with vomiting bugs, diarrhoea, to get spayed, stitches out and most recently a dental extraction for a retained baby canine tooth. Every time I’ve been treated with kindness and Rosie actually pulls to get into the vets, showing she is reassured and comforted while in the crate after her procedures. She has always recovered well and they have all the time in the world for you - an example is I booked in just to see if the retained tooth needed extracted or not and the consultation turned into an immediate sedation and removal, all on the same day. Great service and I’d trust Rosie with them any day! (Big praise as I’m a very worried doggy mum!)

Wee dog really well looked after had a few operations in there now and has recovered well . Friendly staff . One happy dog with their care .

I loved this clinic. Clean, modern, professional, knowledgeable, super helpful. But, today I brought my cat down. The vet I saw was kind of rude and very condescending; basically made out I lied when I said I followed their clinics fle instructions to the tee; which I did. I was then told not to bring my cat into the clinic in my arms; when I was told by the receptionist I could bring my cat in in my arms. He's super afraid of both the cat carrier and the outside world so it was more comfortable for him, believe me, I know my pet. I was told in such a condescending manner 'well, you know, it's actually better for the cat if you keep them in the carrier', hand on hip sort of thing. Em, no, for my cat, it's not. But that's okay, I'll put him in the carrier, just don't tell me I can take him in in my arms...when I clearly can't. Didn't like the vets tone, attitude, I'm a 31 y/o and do not expect to be spoken to like that. Like I said, loved this place. Now, I won't be back. I think I'll go elsewhere where the staff are a touch kinder. And in sync. But they'll probably not read this so I'm wondering what is even the point of sharing my experience but hey ho, I've got this far. And I'm not a keyboard warrior and will gladly go down and speak to them if they see this and take it seriously.

Fab vets! Got booked in same day and 5 minute wait even though I was 15 mins late as got held up! Great spot

A great experience. My little dog got sick. His name is giggy ( short for Gigabyte). He is 10, as my old vet had shut down it was difficult to get another to see him. No problem with this vet. They took such good care of him. I now have both my fur babies registered here. Thank you for helping an old dog xox

Good place, almost like mass production feeling,as they're busy but nice, friendly, and professional staff.

Fantastic practice and I would highly recommend. They’ve taken amazing care of my geriatric dogs and can’t think of taking them elsewhere. The team is always making space to see them, they have great compassion, and I never feel like all they’re after is my money.
