Thank you SpaMedica for giving me back my sight as it used to be before cataracts took it away.I must say everything is spotlessly clean and COVID rules are strictly adhered to every step of the way.The staff are courteous and very helpful nothing is too much trouble and explain everything you need to know.Surgery is quick and painless and the surgeon will explain to you what's being done and is very reassuring.If I could I would give 50 star rating.Thank you all the staff at SpaMedica Birmingham.

I had cataract surgery at SpaMedica Birmingham on both eyes this year. My first operation was in January and the second in March (recommended by my mom following her surgery in 2021).The facilities, and the care and treatment received were superb and I was especially impressed with the results. I can read and drive confidently again now. Thank you to all the lovely staff I met.I highly recommend SpaMedica to everyone who has a choice of where to have their surgery performed

I was very pleased with Spa Medica's set up , it was beautifully clean throughout and the staff were very welcoming, Iwentfeeling more than a little scared as no one likes their eyes messed with, but my fears were soon gone as the whole proceedure only took 20 minutes. The aftercare is marvellous and I have recommended it to friends. Don't hesitate go for it. Trevor Jackson

Waited for my father from 0920-1430, still did not have Op, water problem at centre, waited for nothing, also on arrival had to have a fairy tale covid test (smart these tests as it knows all the variants) these establishments need to start looking after the people (medical oath) and stop following corrupt & criminal Government policies.Also the car park is not fit for purpose, you're car will get damaged on busy days.I would recommend anywhere but this Birmingham city central med centre, traffic and one way system is dreadful.Staff were polite granted.A complete waste of our day and aweful experience. (My view and not of my father who just goes with the flow, however I speak the facts).

On Monday 21st February 2022 I had a cateract removed from my left eye at Spamedica and I want to thank all of the staff that dealt with me, I was treated like a King from the moment that I entered and because of the wonderful staff from the lady that greeted me to the receptionist to the medical staff and the surgeon I didn't worry about a thing, the actual procedure took less than ten minutes and I can honestly say that it's like having brand new 20/20 vision I would recomend Spamedica to anyone, wonderful wonderful service. Thank You.

My Dads CataractsThe reason for my 3 star review was waiting time. We were there 3 hours in total - spent 2.45 hrs just sat in the corridor waiting to go between 4 different rooms. Many patients were elderly with mobility issues and were sat for an extraordinary long period. I definitely think the assessment process could be better streamlined to reduce overall wait times.

great service . they explained everything at each stage , and were friendly and efficient , also the place was very clean . i would recommend spa medical to anybody [and i do every chance i get].

My wife recently was treated for cataracts in both eyes. First assessment on 17th September now on 23rd November discharged after successful operations on both eyes. Quick and efficient treatment from ALL staff, reception, nurses and medical personnel were friendly and carried out their duties to ensure that she was comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. Thank you for your support and care.

28/10/22 Had my second Cateract Op. at this Clinic/Hospital, if an Op. can be described as great this was it, a marvelous experience if anyone needs Cateract Surgery, this is the place to visit ALL staff are Fantastic.
