A bit disappointing for me but my fellow eaters had a better experience. I got the humita, the maduro con queso and the tuna and onion soup. So the humble humita was actually the best: delicate flavour with a bit of cheese inside. A very good portion size for the price as well. I also enjoyed the maduro it was nicely caramelised, with the soft cheese a subtle offset. My husband and his friend both enjoyed their expansive meat dishes. My husband did note it wasn’t the best flavour he’s ever had which I’m not surprised, being Ecuadorean myself. Now for the negatives…My glass of chicha tasted like SOY sauce. My husband agreed… it definitely WASN’T the chicha I had in Peru and Colombia. This is definitely my fault but the huge bowl of tuna and onion soup was too… fishy. More like a boullabaisse. There is an extensive weekend menu that unfortunately wasn’t available Thursday night so I want to come back for the prawns in coconut sauce. On service, it wasn’t great, like in many places in the U.K. The lovely Brazilian waitress had, like it seems every server in Europe has, tunnel vision, and cannot cope with multiple tables at once. That said it was quite busy last night and it seems staff is limited.

This is a hidden gem and never thought there is an authentic Ecuadorian restaurant around London area. I am quite surprised with the selection food here. It does associate with some Spanish influence which I think could be because not many people are aware of Ecuador food and to include Spanish to give a bit variety selection of food. Restaurant felt really local, lots people speaking Spanish. Could tell probably local Ecuadorian go there for food. They do really good stew soup for sure could see people ordering a bowl of it. Very good for cold winter!Mixed grill and the seafood mix are some of the most ordered dishes. Overall, great restaurant and highly recommend to others. Loving the interior of the restaurant as well! Colourful and lively!

When you want a good home cooked meal, this is the place to be. The food we had tasteed clean and flavourful without too many spices and additives to it.Didn't get 5 stars because the place wasn't so busy and the service was a bit slow and some items on the menu were not available.

The service was great...however, the food quality fell short, earning a 5 out of 10. The soup was overly salty, the chicken undercooked, and the beef cold and lacking flavor. In comparison to other Latin restaurants, it fails to meet the expected standard. While my experience was with the menu items, I believe constructive feedback can aid improvement in their kitchen.

I only had a humita here, but it was truly excellent. Such a simple thing, but when made well has a unique texture and flavor. The cup of green tea was also quite generous. The wait staff, however, seemed somewhat indifferent.

We had weekend lunch here. Service was friendly and very fast! Our mains arrived before we’d even finished our starters. Nevertheless, the food was delicious and portions were generous. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced too. Recommended.

The Chicharron was a highlight for me and my family. So great to find excellent ecuadorian food in London - we can’t wait to return. The empanadas were also delicious and the plateno was cooked to perfection and so ripe

Excellent service, delicious food and huge portions. The mixed meat rice is great and can feed 4 people. The steamed sweet corn is interesting, first time tried this and we liked it.
