The White Hart
First visit on a hot and sticky night that must have been a real challenge to work in yet there was no signs of this from the amazing and attentive staff. Food was with us quickly despite it being really busy. Really enjoyed my salad and looking forward to going back and trying some of the other options. A great evening, cheers!

Incredibly delicious food! Between us we ordered the cheese and onion pie, the steak and ale pie, the poblano pepper dish, the salmon and the turkey dinner. Everything was hot, delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. Perfect portion sizes. All our plates were empty! The desserts were amazing too. Extremely friendly staff. Great choices on the menu. Beautiful decorations. Loved everything and we had a wonderful time.

Visited for lunch on an early November very wet day....yet the pub was still pretty full and had a really nice atmosphere with a large log fire.Service was outstanding....one of our group had significant dietary preferences and the serving team did everything to accommodate them, even popping out to the local supermarket to get a particular milk type. How many places would offer to do that??Food was excellent....spring roll starters were superb, beef pie top notch.Their coffee is also extremely good, we tried cappuccino, americano and pumpkin spiced latte, all better than you'd get in a good coffee shop.Well worth a visit.

Easy going and comfortable place with a warm welcome. Great food with a varied menu, well presented - both fish dishes were excellent. Nice garden out back that looks like it would be lovely in summer.

I recently visited the White Hart in Duffield and had an amazing culinary experience. The first course I enjoyed was the scallops with pancetta which were cooked to perfection and had a delightful flavour. The presentation was beautiful and the portion size was just right.For my main course I ordered the fillet steak and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and had an exceptional flavour. It was accompanied with triple cooked chips which were cooked to perfection as well. The presentation was impressive and the portion size was just right.The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly making me feel right at home. The service was impeccable from start to finish.Overall I had a fantastic dining experience at the White Hart in Duffield. The quality of the food the service, and the atmosphere surpassed all expectations. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful lunch or dinner

Went in for a cup of tea, lovely surprise with warm welcome. After a cheeky request to sit next to a window, was seated within seconds. Tea was bought to our table. Menu was inviting, so we ordered a couple of starters, just for nibbles. The food was piping hot, and delicious. We asked for water, which was delivered in an ice cold bottle, crystal clear.Very impressed with the service and the food. Only on a day out, but could easily be a local if we lived in the village

A beautiful small pub/restaurant with a fantastic range of great food and friendly service. The menu has a good range and all the food our table of 12 ordered was fantastic and quickly bought out together. The pub is very popular so booking is essential.
