Steble Fountain
This commemorative fountain is impressive, appears to be well maintained, but is dry, so appears to no longer actually be a fountain. Nevertheless, it remains a significant structure that contributes to the area.

Sadly this beautiful, historical and cultural area of the city is home to lots of broken glass, rubbish, weeds and uneven paving slabs. Such a shame to see and a reflection of the respect given to the city's heritage in my view. Sincerely hope it improves.

This is a beautiful fountain covered by bronze statuary. This is one of the finest pieces of Victorian urban public art in Liverpool.

Sadly not running as a fountain at present as no water. But an impressive piece of sculpture in Liverpool.

This is why Liverpool has lost it heritage status.. Its amazing monuments look neglected and lost.. Get your act together and make your city proud once more of its heritage.

A pleasant reflective time in such a remarkable wealth of creativity - but Larus Argentatus does seem to decorate those icons of the past in a glow of white wash if you follow my scent !!

Situated next to Waterloo Column, Stable Fountain was donated to the town of Liverpool in 1847.

Ornate fountain centrepiece and I imagine it looks great if it was running. However, when visiting the fountain was empty and the area surrounding it filthy and covered in broken glass and rubbish. Such a shame.
