Nice stretch of coastline. Ideal for dog walking. Parking available all along the promenade to the North, and a small car park to the South (both free to use). Plan your visit for low tide and take advantage of a lovely sandy beach. Popular with photographers at Sunrise and Sunset especially at low tide for reflections in the wet sand. Spectacular wave action at other times.

Love walking along the cliffs here. Just sad at the amount of rubbish, fly tipping and the grass being destroyed by off road bikes.

Hendon Beach
Not really a beach as almost all of the ways down to the sand have been blocked off. However it's a lovely promenade, with path ways and steps up to the hill and cliffs above. Great place for a walk, and fantastic views over the sea and along the coast.There is a good sized free car park. No shops or toilet facilities though.

Very clean beach. Good spot for fishing, and also dog friendly. Nice place to take fish and chips and a lovely sea view.
