Had the dirty cow, the meat was really well cooked and the potatoes tasted amazing. Only a small area of seating but plenty of space to sit upstairs.

Highly recommended -First visit today, (December 2023).I had the Shin Beef Ragu, on Deep Fried Gnocchi (£9), it tasted amazing!Will definitely be one of my favourite go-to places in Cardiff City centre.Only issue is limited seating downstairs (but there is communal seating upstairs so its not a big problem).

If you want a really rich cheesy fresh tagiatelle, this is the place to go. The noodles are done just right and it is very filling.

All I can say is, “Wow!”Recommended by Hard Lines so I decided to give Dirty Gnocchi a try today for lunch. I had mushroom ragu on a bed of cheese-wheel pasta strips.It was absolutely fantastic and I went back to tell them so.Friendly service, proper takeaway packs / cutlery.Highly recommended!

This is my favourite lunch place in the cardiff market! I recently had the carbonara dish which was delicious! The staff are so lovely and welcoming, and you can watch them make the pasta in the cheese wheel which is really cool! Great experience and highly recommend :)

Great addition to the Cardiff market, based on the ground floor with its own private tiny seating area.Their fried dirty gnocchi is a great take on gnocchi, the crunch really adds to the dish.And the cheese wheel pasta is really tasty.

Very friendly and nice staff. The gnocchi just did not work for me. It was too chewy and the texture wasn't great. The taste was fine but not exceptional.

This place is top notch, working in town this is my number 1 place to have lunch. The food is magnificent and always generous portions. Shout out to the staff as well, Rhys, Laura and Jon always make me feel welcome and are a good laugh to talk to. Couldn’t recommend high enough, whether you’re a regular in town or a 1 off visitor - you HAVE to try Dirty Gnocchi

Overall I enjoyed my lunch here. I did think however the gnocchi was all a bit hard and chewy. It would have been nice for it to be a little bit softer.

Very very nice food limited seating but it's able to be taken away.All the food was cooked from scratch and freshSmall bowls of food all around ten pounds so not the cheapest of options but it's quality over quantity and to be fair all the other street food places in here all around the same price.Only gave four stars due to the lack of disabled acess as the market is busy and there was no disabled seating anywhere unfortunately.
