I always order from here so I went into the shop this time and the atmosphere was so welcoming! Lovely service and food. So happy that there is a good Caribbean spot in Wandsworth.

Nope, nope and nope.Ordered a mutton soup for 5.50 which was unbelievably tiny with absolutely no mutton in whatsoever as per video and just tasted of cloves. Salt fish fritter was cold and the jerk wings did not taste like pan at all. There was no smoke flavour. I usually go to top taste but I thought I'd give you a go and I was disappointed. Sorry. Not for me I'm afraid.

Rice and peas had two peas in it, fatty oxtail not much meat on (I've made better) partner asked if fish had pepper said no burn the roof of mouth off as has ulcers. Not even Caribbean Kfc ever gave such a small portion of coleslaw. Got the 'LARGE' portion, my pet gets more food should be enough to have seconds the next day. Was not impressed won't be going back!

I’ve been ordering Wha Gwan since I moved to Wandsworth. I though I would pop in and dine since it’s my favourite Caribbean place in the borough. I can say it was one of my favourite experiences the owners were so kind and friendly. Very humbling to see people working hard while delivering the best food.The food was ridiculously delicious and fresh all the pastries and salads were fresh and tasty. The pepper steak was fantastic the meat was tender and succulent and the sauce was incredible.I can’t wait to be hungry tomorrow to grab some more. Thank you to the Wha Gwan team for making some of my favourite food and feeding their local community.

Great atmosphere with chilled reggae beats, Peter is a gentleman and best of all the food is great and you can smell it walking down the street.Will be back for my Peppered Steak soon.Jon

As a Jamaican myself I thought the food was great , portions sizes were good , my family and I enjoyed it, service was friendly and quick. We will be ordering again!

Curry goat was good. Tasty and good sized portion 4/5Jerk wings were weird. Not much flavor apart from savory. Almost like soy sauce. Some were really dry and burned.Tiniest wings I've ever seen. Asked for hot. They were not hot. 2/5

We got a take out curry coat with rice and beans. Huuuuge portion, loads of meat, so rich in flavour, very tasty! Have been here a few times. Service was crazy fast our food was ready in less than 5 mins. Friendly staff.
