The opening hours aren't 5pm, they're 4.30pm. That won't help you though, because if like me you get there before 4.30 you'll find they've already locked the doors to go home for the day. I thought they'd be a helpful, local shop that I could rely on.

I am just getting back in to sewing and have come in here for fabric and other bits. Having not done any sewing for nearly five years my knowledge is a bit rusty. However the ladies here are super helpful and nothing is ever too much bother. All staff are lovely, especially the ladies working in the fabric area late afternoon of Saturday 8th January.

Got some ykk zippers and gutermann extra strong top stitch thread from here while completing my custom motorbike jacket. Amazing quality materials and helpful ladies in store. Will use this store again on another project.

Lovely staff, very friendly, great selection of fabrics and needles but lacking a good selection of knitting needles sadly. Good for sowing though :)

I knitted my sister a cardigan and I needed 9 buttons to complete it the staff were very helpful, friendly and approachable the prices are very reasonable I've never been there before I will be going there again though

A very useful store with a wide range of haberdashery and nice quilting fabric basics. It doesn't stock high end dressmaking fabric but it will likely have everything you need in terms of core sewing supplies. Helpful staff. Seems to have improved it's dressmaking range recently.
