Such a great bakery with a large selection of sweet/savoury goods. Staff are super friendly and lovely to chat to. Definitely recommend popping in to grab a nice treat or even just a sandwich/loaf of bread etc.

Good selection of produce BUT the pastry in the pies is raw. The steak & kidney filling is brilliant , but the pastry isn't cooked. Have had to cut it out several times now. Sort it out please.

We recently moved to the area and the oven door is just down the road. We had bread, sausage roll and an eccles cake. Came to just over £4 which isn't bad but the food isn't good. The sausage roll isn't made with quality meat and was just bland and Mt Eccles cake was raw dough in the middle. I dont know how but it was dry and stodgy all in one. Haven't tried the bread yet but it looks like it should be okay. I know we should support local businesses but im not parting my hard earned cash for things that end up in the bin.

Just moved to the area and was hopeful this was going to be a nice little village bakery. Shocked at the other reviews here, because I'm sad to say the cookies were dry and the loaf was raw dough in the middle. The cornish pasty was OK, but not great. Reheated in the microwave so the pastry is all soft and microwaved, not for me. I'm gutted. Loaf in the bin, bought another in Co-op. I might try them again one day, but this disappointment was not cheap so I'm in no hurry.

The bread is delicious, the Belgian buns are delicious, the only strange thing is that they don’t serve fresh cream cakes on a Saturday. It doesn’t bother me but the wife is heart broken.
