Screwfix Bamber Bridge
The click and collect is so easy, staff are always cheery and attentive. It's my go to store, plus prices are always competitive. They don't take AMEX (shame) however you can charge back to AMEX if you pay via PayPal.

Local so very handy for my diy needs, staff are efficient and friendly, can get busy during the day with tradesmen so go after 5pm and it's a bit quieter.

Having a screwfix with helpful staff who don't judge a thirty-two year old man child who's idea of DIY is mainly trial and error, all whilst having literally everything you could possibly need out of the catalogue available within an hour? That's just bloody marvellous, that.

I was looking for double sided tape (about £5) the lady searched her stock and as I explained what it was for the gent took over searching. They did not have what I wanted however, he looked up online where I could get it from and wrote down the code and price and send me across the road to a competitor, how good was that. Customer care, service and helpfulness I would give you more than 5 stars if I could, it's refreshing to come across service like this in this day and age of take take take and they weren't even getting the business.

Ordered product online and told that it would be available to collect from the store the next day. Went to collect the following day and told it wasn't available and wouldn't be there for another 2 days. When I showed manager K my order confirmation advising that the product should be there today this was met with disinterest and an implication that it was my fault for coming to the store on a Sunday. I was also advised that this new collection date was stated on the receipt although I only received this when I attended the store! No apology, no solution offered, complete lack of understanding of why this is a mistake by the company they are meant to represent. Crash course in customer service sorely needed by management of this store. Very poor.

No problems here. Ordered quickly and easily online, then collected within 10 minutes. I received a text within 2 minutes of ordering to say my goods were ready to be collected. Collection was easy but you have to take the card you paid online with. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend
