Not enough crockery for 6 people only had 2 bowls , beds very uncomfortable, pull out bed was a disgrace it’s was broken and very dirty , no brush to sweep up mess , shower leaks everywhere as it has no seal on the bottom . Caravan was clean on arriving . Entertainment was awful no proper interaction with children or adults , all it was was bingo . Lovely staff in the cart area . Pool nice but staff looked as bored as anything, just carried on with their personal conversation when you book in . The park is very clean and well maintained, we enjoyed it , but sadly won’t return

Beware of the fob bridge! It's in the middle of the park and separated the park by 2 halves. We travelled to Clacton for some food and on the return our satnav took us via the bottom of the park instead of the top. We dont know the area so weren't aware that this was the case. This meant that we would have to cross this bridge in the middle of the park that you need a fob for. My sister was renting the caravan for a night and wasn't given a fob or informed of it, so we had to exit the park and travel back through Jaywick and up to the top entrance of the park that took about 15 minutes. However, the caravan was spacious and had a double and 2 twin rooms. The sitting area was ample and had a large dining table and a cute little kitchenette with a fridge, freezer, microwave, oven and hobs. The caravan smelled a little like stale cigarettes, so we brought some fabric refresher spray with us.

Really good value for a short trip with great facilities at the sister park. Our oven did not work but the maintenance came out swiftly. Loved the food at the restaurant and the swimming pool was great too.Beach behind was good too as was quieter

TerribleReception staff are mostly lovely & tried to help.Caravan smelt of sour milk & the seating area was covered in stains. When asked to be moved, we were told we'd have to wait until the next day & was given some sheets to cover the seats with. Next day, there were no available caravans. They instead sent cleaners in to do a deep clean, carpets, seats & bed was steam cleaned. Made a massive difference just wish it had happened before we got there.Whilst walking around the park, there is an obvious smell of weed around.

What an awful site, stayed a week in a privately owned caravan booked through a third party. The caravan itself was clean and sufficient but the site was somewhere I would never visit again. There's a strong smell of cannabis lingering around, noisy neighbours with no regard for anyone else. We ate on the first night in the club house and the food was unedible so didn't bother again. The traffic light system over the bridge is a joke as its broken and was causing all sorts of issues for cars who didn't realise it was broken. Why they didn't just turn them off is beyond me.Really poorly managed site from hell.

I have been using park holiday UK for past 4 years. Been to Harwich, Carlton mare and few others. But this time I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I was traveling with my family and few other families. We had 4 caravans. It would be understandable if one caravan had minor issues, but almost all caravans had some issues. When asked for help from caretakers, they simply say they can't do anything. Reception are not helpful either. We travelled with 8 childrens age between 2 and 8 years old and a baby 6 months old. With one caravan suddenly no water supply during night time. How are we able to use the toilets etc. On first night no hot water so couldn't have a shower and most cleaning. Another caravan wasn't clean where a 6 month old baby was. The bedding wasn't cleaned properly and had tissues all over. It was not hygienic as viruses could've spread out. They didn't take COVID safety measures seriously. I feel that this site will be a lot nicer and more comfortable to stay in, if the management and caretaker team changes their understanding of serving guests.

Filthy soft furnishings, bedding disgusting both badly soiled and smelly, had to buy new quilts and pillows ( not what you need after a 450 mile trip) No warden, miserable Sales staff who looked at my wife treating her as an inconvenience to their doing nothing. Did the 10 mph speed limit with a black 4x4 inches of my bumper, buzzed by a kid on a noisy minimoto. Walked through mud to our van after we eventually found it. The van was freezing cold, with no instructions how to operate anything.Rubbish all around the van, no outside light for the dark evenings or trying to open the key safe. Parking a fair distance away to lug all our luggage ( through the mud)Will we be back... not as long as I can breathe

Went there this year - Hideous place. Ferrel kids everywhere, pool you a grand total of 45 mins a day and is basic and nothing like the pictures, everything else closed unless it’s peak summer (other than the rip off arcades where you win a few penny sweets for £30 spend) - go elsewhere trust me anywhere else in the UK is better than here….
