For an unknown reason this library has been closed for most of the week,(end of February 2022) Having slogged up there to collect a hold it was shut and in darkness today. No note on the door or explanation. They closed Friars and Thorpedene and this is now our only library. A very poor service.

Entrance to the library requires various covid-preventative measures and once inside I was pleased to note that the staff were hermetically sealed in a clear perspex safety bubble. I asked the librarian where I might find the reference section. Reference...?" he queried back

Don’t expect library is closed 1 hour for lunchtime (1pm-2pm) during working days. It is not convenient for people who want to use the library services. Staff is friendly and helpful. If staff can take turn to have their lunch, needn’t close for 1 hour, that would be better.

Lovely little library, accessible, tidy and lots of children's books.There's also a nice little cafe (no highchairs though)

I was at an everyone health meeting in the gym not the library but whole place seems good everyone I have spoken to was very helpful, because of everyone health I've managed to lose quite a bit of weight.

Great, modern library, well equipped especially for children. The staff are helpful and opening hours are good for a smaller branch.
