Haddington Place - Student Accommodation Edinburgh

An alright place but let down by one major flaw: false advertising.My wife and I booked a DOUBLE room for the fringe, yet when we arrived we found a large single - definitely not a double. As seen from the image the bed wasn't wide enough to fit two pillows next to each other. Needless to say we had terrible nights sleep, but apparently Haddington Place rooms 'are all the same'.Terrible advertising. If you're going by yourself it's a decent but basic space. Avoid at all costs if a couple!!!Other problem: no cleaners came to our room whilst staying there, not even in the corridors - there was squashed food in the carpet outside our room the whole time we were there. No toilet brushes.

People:One of the great things about Haddington Place is the staff here. They are super efficient and friendly. There are some minor hiccups here and there, but it has always been met with good recovery and assistance. No matters or issues are too minor for them, they will make the effort to help you solve your issue. Especially Sarah, who is so fast and efficient, does great follow ups. She and her team is amazing, the security guards looking after us during the after office hours have been great too, especially Joe who is so friendly and genuine. The staff here makes me feel safe and comforted.Location: It is a very good place to stay if you like to walk or run, just 5-8 minutes down the path, it leads you to many park connectors. like warrington path, water of Leith, Victoria park. I have a great time daily as I run and cycle often, it is a designated path for cycling and run/walking, very safe, even with night lights if you fancy an evening cycle or run. The accommodation is also close to many great eateries of various price ranges. Also near to three supermarkets. You can have your pick. It is also has a bus stop that takes you to the university just less than 5 minutes walk away. Great location. away from crowd.

Haddington Place has been my home for a year and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The student accommodation is brand-new and has great common spaces that can be used by the students: a gym, a study room, cinema room, common area for parties, etc. All in all, I had a great time. And the staff is the best!

I lived at haddington place for 4 months and can highly recommend this accommodation. Equipped with a gym, study and cinema room as well as a nice common area with a pool table, this accommodation offers everything you need for a great stay in edinburgh. Furthermore the accommodation manager as well as the whole team was very friendly and keen to help with everything. Overall I met a lot of nice people here and had a great time!

Just a short walk from the city centre and Waverley Station, well served by buses and close to the tramline to reach any destination. Most importantly, it felt like home for three years! Kind and helpful team that never let me down. The management team is professional and friendly. High cleaning standards in common areas. The security team will make you feel safe. The studios are nice and have everything you need. I would highly recommend it!

A very cosy student accommodation with nice reception and security guards. Locating in the peaceful Leith Walk but very close to the city centre! Easy access to various shops and pretty parks. Most of my friends come from this accommodation, thanks to the colourful and regular events. A perfect place for Uni students to live in!

Haddington place is absolutely the best student accommodation at Edinburgh. All of my friends living here are satisfied with everything here!!~

super lovely accommodation! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Haddington Place is nicely located, not far from Calton Hill and a twenty minute walk from Edinburgh University. The rooms are modern and my studio is relatively spacious with twenty square meters. There are many small cafes and stores in the area. Right next to the accommodation is a wonderful yoga studio that I visit regularly. All in all, I felt very happy to stay here.

This is my first year at Haddington Place, and I am coming back!! the building is new and really nice, the place is quite and well maintained. there are gym and pool table in the communal area!! staff are very helpful and quick to respond. The location is absolutely great, there are plenty of shops near by, princess street is about 10-15 minutes walk and there is an abundant number of buses around. it really is a great place to stay.

I lived here for 3 months. It’s a very clean and cute place. The staffs are really nice. Especially the old man in the lobby he really takes care of the place so much !!!! Thank you :)There are small and big events inside of the building and I highly recommend here.Also it secures the sound very very well. My flatmate used to play the guitar but I never heard anything.5 mins walk for the movie, Tesco is 1 min away. The only thing was, my school was a bit farI really felt safe and good here, had a great memory
