Great little shop and Andrew has everything you could think of and I bet even more, it's like walking back in time,a proper old iron mongers

So helpful, nothing is too much trouble.

I like visiting Brynmawr DIY. The owner has those rugged, handsome, movie star good looks and could have had a career in stand up comedy. They have a massive selection of items for sale too so add in the eye candy and its a great place to visit.

I have been using Brynmawr DIY for a few years and Andrew and Josh are the most helpful and friendly people you could ever meet. It's an Aladdins cave and reminds me of what a real DIY/ Ironmongers was like before retail chains took over.

Great service, exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, friendly owners and staff. If you need a thingamy jig for your whatsit. The chances are you'll find it here.

We love to shop local to support family rub businesses and the man in this shop is so helpful. We pick coming here over screwfix and argos etc

I always have great service from Andrew and family whenever I shop at Brynmawr DIY. This shop is like a treasure trove to me and my go to shop for DIY projects as I can buy the exact amount I need without wasting money at large retailers. I really like the gloss paint which is unlike any other gloss I have used before and it has lasted well on radiators. There are home, garden, D.I Y, Plumbing, painting and tools plus much more such as kitchen essentials such as cutlery, crockery and cooking items. I highly recommend this shop and its locality saves petrol and time as its in the centre of Brynmawr. Even open on Christmas Eve 2022 for last minute shoppers.

Andrew always helpful and willing to offer advice. I always go to Andrew first for any DIY items. You can buy one or a pack of screws , bolts etc, no need to buy a pack of 50 at large stores .

Fab service, had things to get for a project initially planned on going to B&Q or screwfix but so glad I didn’t. The service was 10/10, really helpful and considering how clueless I was the gentleman was so polite and patient! I can’t recommend this shop enough, since my first visit last week I’ve returned once yesterday and will be again on Monday. The prices are also so much better than the big chains, the quality has been great. Such a great gem.
