AVOID!! Ordered £45 of food tonight that went straight in bin, chicken looked dry/weeks old, duck £11 not sliced as usual but diced in to 1cm cubes dry, tasteless and Singapore chow mien had sliced wafer thin ham in and dry, asked for a little bit of spice in chicken curry But burned lips when tasting, called the takeaway to complain band was over spoken by the defensive receptionist taking the orders using every excuse under the sun. Never again Terrible!

Fast friendly service and good tasty food. I found their food to have generous portions for the prices and to be cooked just right. No excess fat/grease like with some other takeaways!If you are needing a Chinese Takeaway in Wakefield then give Eat88 a try

Got my order wrong, when called up about it had a woman saying I should have been more specific when I already had been specific enough. When finally sorted, they took the mick getting the correct order back through. Its now been 45 minutes and it is still not here. Least to say I am not happy one little bit.To make things worse. The driver just came by, went to the wrong property. Went back and is now saying he's finished and is refusing to give me my correct order. Never received my correct order in the end.When rung up today to request a refund was told they cannot do that but instead can give a ten pound voucher which I refused as I quite simply will never order from here again. Be assured I will get a refund.

Good local Chinese takeaway. Staff are friendly and helpful both when ordering and collecting. I have used their delivery service before and found them to be quick. Collection is always fast, I tend to collect when I am passing in car. Their food is tasty and the portions are generous. I've seen reviews on here of people saying the food was overly oily, in fact I found this to be good compared to a lot of the other local Chinese takeaways, food from Eat88 isn't greasy at all?

Worst chinese in wakefield.. Vile

Everything was tasty, a bit spiced up compared to Wakefield standard Chinese takeaway. I'm looking forward to ordering again.

eat 88 has always been brilliant and as a long time customer i was utterly shocked by what i recieved tonight 27.1.23 ordered at 6.03pm 2 special chow main as soon as just eat took my money it said it wouldnt be here till 19.05 till 19.25 at 1900 got a tex saying it would be delayed it finally arrived on opening it noticed straight away meat has been reduced and more noodles on taking a bite of the meat it was flat cold tried some more still flat cold and having a hygiene certificate level 2 would definitely say meat wasnt even cooked properly the taste was blandness no flavours going on what so ever i know times are hard for business but to send out that kind of food is just wrong both me and partner have felt quite nauseous since eating it will not be ordering again if were ill to night or tomorrow definitely no were to go for full traceability

Great food! Not greasy like some takeaways!

Very poor quality of food , I think even it was from last night £65 of food and it was horrible real shame! We called in and the lady put the phone down on my husband won’t order again for sure
