I’m very happy with my nails. The service was good, the man (I do not know his name) was kind and created exactly what I wanted, the colour was perfect to my reference picture and the whole process of having acrylics and gel took only 40 mins. Reason why I did not rate this 5 stars was because I did not realise you had to pay in cash. Nowhere on their website or shop said this. I had to pay an extra £2 for card machine. But other than that, happy with my service and will return again. Thank you Ivy nails

The service l received was 10/10.My nails & toes came out looking amazing. The staff is really sweet & friendly. Highly recommend - definitely my new place in Manchester

First the staff were rude and said I couldn't afford a certain design, in which I still persisted them to do the design I asked for. This should of been a sign as it turned out so bad so I asked could she stop and I'll just get a plain colour, I apologised for this as I know it must of been annoying. But after saying yes she proceeded to grab the electrical nail file, filing my nails and fingers making them bleed. It has been 2 weeks since I got them done and the nail they made me bleed the most on and cut that short has since been infected. I didn't see them sanitise any of their equipment which is a massive problem and shows that they don't really care about their hygiene. Definitely wouldn't recommend going to them.

I got biab with gel on top and 4 of my nails cracked within 4 days. I’ve been to other salons before and got the exact same thing and this has never happened. I’ve had to cut my nails after having spent months keeping them long. This was also £40 with a student discount so definitely not worth the money. They removed my old get set and filed my nails down and down until they were so thin that I could bend them. I’m really not impressed with the quality of these and I’ve heard similar things so be aware.

I got a manicure with polish for 15 £, the nail polish was expired and the place in general wasn’t clean, the worker kept switching between doing my nails and another girls nails, and they make you pay 2£ extra if u wanna pay with card. wouldn’t come again

i came here after being convinced it would be good after seeing the student discount, turns out it’s quite frankly the opposite. i asked for basic acrylics with a french tip and simple design and was charged £48 student discount!! i’m annoyed that i didn’t challenge this as the prices shown on their window which i have a picture of are much less than £48!! the woman doing my nails was slightly rude and dismissive as well which i decided to shrug off but considering the price i was charged and the fact that my glitter design is going everywhere with the nails feeling so cheaply done - avoid!

Gel nails were really poor quality. One of my nails quickly chipped. I went back and they redid it for me, but within an hour it had chipped again. I went back again and they quickly painted another coat over the chip. It chipped yet again but I won't be returning for a repair this time.

Gel shellac: Very poor job, service was rushed and skin was cut carelessly deep causing me to bleed. Nail shape was uneven. Application was also uneven. The prices were hipped up even with discounts.
