Centrally located post office in Middlesbrough city centre.within a few minutes walk of the Middlesbrough railway station.There are 2 entrances but only one of them is accessible for the disabled.The location isn't far from parking or public transport.has a good range of facilities.But staffs very disappointed that the service doesn't seem to be provided effectively .And generally unhelpful bordering on rude however a few select staff are lovely. I try to avoid this post office but needs must. Large array of services so Its convenient.

Always only has 1 staff member and this causes a long wait in line. Once I was waiting in line and a man behind me gave the woman staff member verbal abuse because of how long it was taking to wait. I don’t agree giving the staff member abuse as she has to deal with 10-15 people waiting continuously for their whole shift…There needs to be more staff there. It’s in a city centre. One staff member at busy times in the day is ridiculous, for the customers and the stress for the staff. Awful post office. DON’T GO UNLESS YOU LIKE TO WAIT IN LINE FOR 30-40 MINUTESdisappointing :/

We went to collect my husband's BRP card.more than 4times we went .they received BRP card on17th .we went 18th and 21st they said it's not there.some people working there lazy to search things .Today(24th) we received BRP card .The guy working there is really good.He searched everywhere sincerely and found it .

For the umpteenth time, queue almost to the back stairs, self-serve not working and only two counters open at 12:30. A couple of bods moving behind the counters doing other jobs Why can't the powers that be get extra staff over the lunch hour?

I have a very bad experienced with the staff which is the young guy. I went to the office for two times to collect my BRP. He always says that my BRP still not there. I was wondering that I received my letter decision January 20, I arrived March 7 how come that my BRP isn't ready for collection. I reported to the home office they replied that my BRP is ready for collection since Feb 11,. For the 3rd times went there a lady entertained me. And she checked my BRP AND i got it.. found that guy very lazy... Never check properly. So annoying

Appalling customer service. Only ever 1 of 2 staff serving. This morning there was at least 8 of us queuing. Only 1 of 2 women serving. The other one was counting stamps!!! And when we thought she had finished counting them she started re-arranging them! Literally un sticking them off 1 sheet and sticking them onto another!!! I asked if she might be able to serve and was spoken to aggressively that “the queue wasn’t that big!” Wow! I left and will go to ingleby Barwick post office where the customer service is always excellent!

Only ever have 2 staff working in probably the busiest post office in Teesside. I feel really sorry for the staff who actually work there(who are great) but when you have a massive queue you could be there for 30-40 minutes. They need recruit and get at least another 3-4 staff in there. Don’t use Covid as an excuse for not recruiting.

This is the worst Post Office I've ever had the misfortune of visiting. Chronically short staffed with wait times often exceeding 20 minutes. All of the staff members are frankly rude and need retraining or to find alternative careers. This Post Office is an embarassment to what used to be a great service.

Poor communication of opening hours online. Gone two days in a row just to try to collect a parcel and the first day a rude WHSmith worker patronisingly told me it had closed at 4 and today I found out it closes at 2. No evidence of this online. Both days had incredibly long queues. Got to the Post Office an hour in advance the second day thinking it would be enough time but with only one member of staff working I was still unable to collect my parcel. Waste of time and terrible planning on WHSmith end. Find somewhere else unless you have a day spare to stand waiting!
