Nice relaxing ride along canal. Views not that good because of run down residential barges moored along most of the route.

Treacle Eater Clog Celebrated its 40th Anniversary & enjoyed a day of dance in Bradford on Avon. Along side us we danced with local side Bells Angels" on Saturday 24th of June 2023.One of our treats of the day was a relaxing cruise on the river aboard theBarbra Mclellan. We had a wonderful trip with our family with ages ranging from 6 to 85, including two in a wheelchair. Everyone enjoyed the trip and all wanted to go again. The staff were very helpful, friendly and fun. We would highly recommend going on this trip!

Lovely return trip to the Avoncliff Aqueduct. Very reasonably priced. Drinks, snacks and cake available to purchase on board. Very tight space for legs at the tables so might not suit very tall people. Well staffed and all very knowledgeable and safety conscious.

Had a lovely trip to Avonmouth Aqueduct and back which takes between 2 and 2.5 hours. First we went through the lock and then along the canal passed the moored boats which was all very relaxing and then on the return went through the lock again. The volunteer staff on the boat were very good and knowledgeable also making us aware of health and safety. The lady in charge said she will remember me as QR Man as they have recently started QR codes for the booking. Well recomended and would like to repeat the trip sometime.

We took a family trip from BOA to the Avoncliff aqueduct and back and everyone really enjoyed it, aged between 8 and 87. Interesting to see all the other canal boats moored up along the way, nice and relaxing.

Fantastic boat trip through the lock. The volunteers are all amazingly helpful and friendly and the trip itself is a lovely, relaxing cruise along the canal. Well worth it and we're looking forward to visiting again.

Very peaceful boat trip. Going through the lock was very fun especially for the little ones, you get a little wet when you’re at the front of the boat going up. At the end of the trip they gave out some sweets to each table for passing the eye-spy. They give out eye-spy at the start of the trip for the kids and adults if they would like, and at around the turning point they give out crosswords, harder ones for adults and nice simple ones for the kids. Highly recommend for any occasion, whether it’s just to try out being in a barge on a canal or for just relaxing.

Today we went on the santa experience,fantastic value for money and fun for all ages! This was our second time booking with them the first being a trip in the summer. The trips are reasonably priced and I would definitely recommend.

I work in Bradford and the canal is a good place to stop between shifts. Plenty of pubs and a close walk to Crossguns at Avon Cliff walk or cycle. passing the Tythe Barn and old Barton Farm.
