St Barnabas House Ferring charity shop

Wow,charity shop heaven!!!Fantastic ,very helpful staff!!! Made my sister and I very welcome to browse,loads of fantastic goods for sale, household goods,furniture, Christmas gifts and ideas,plenty of bling dresses for your Christmas do and new year do!!!Please go there,you won't be disappointed, and of course, its all for a good cause!!!

The most miserable and ungrateful charity shop I’ve ever been in. Twice now I’ve been in there when people have brought in donations and the reception and attitude towards them has been anything but friendly and appreciative. One couple brought in some great quality homeward to be met with a a snapped “I’m not sure we’re accepting stuff at the moment” from the woman volunteer followed by a stoney silence from the male as he was being shown the high quality donations. No warmth and no thank you - just a “well we”ll have to get it pat tested”. They also overcharge. Complete contrast to the charity shop across the side road who treat people with warmth, friendliness and appreciation. Learn from them St B!

A super charity shop with great items at fair prices. Friendly staff. New items every day. Lots of bargains to be found. I love it. X

Very expensive considering items are donated

Staff need more training in being pleasant to customers. The lady at the till shows no eye contact and seems disinterested. Perhaps a smile and passing the time of day may make customers feel a little more happy to be in the shop.

St Barnabas are always my choice of charity when I'm having a clear out or having a collection (Worthing), however I visited the Ferring store today as the other shop was too full. The attitude of the staff in there really did not reflect the amazing work that St. Barnabas does. I was so let down and instead of feeling uplifted I felt like I was a nuisance to their day.

I went into your shop today, and was not impressed with the older woman behind the till, no hello or smile or greeting I work in a Charity shop in Hove near Brighton, if I or any other volunteer treated customers like that they would not come back, why an earth she is on a till with no repore with customers she made me very uncomfortable, was quibbling over a penny which ihad to get from another customer I hope when I visit again she is not in there, surprised the shop has any customers at all when she is there and also no please or thank you

I have witnessed on three occasions the manager literally balling out customers that go anywhere near the window displays.She shouts right across the shop can I help you!!!! She then proceeds to rush over and loudly exclaim,if you need any help just ask!!!! The poor customers look shell shocked and walk out probably never to return.Customer training needed I think

Great Prices not too expensive for this upmarket charity shop. Staff and volunteers warm, friendly and attentive.

Good range reasonably priced.
