Bishopmill Launderette

I’ve been using Bishopmill Launderette regularly for the past few months as I have no washing machine currently. I’ve always found the place spotlessly clean, and the attendant (Christine) friendly and helpful. I feel sorry for her having to work around broken machines (hence only four stars), which can’t help when she has service washes to deliver as well as drop in customers to look after. If you’re the owner reading this - please get them fixed!! Also - please pass on my compliments to Christine - she does a great job and perhaps doesn’t get thanked enough.

Staying around Forres it would make sense to use this laundrette. However, at £10 for a small machine, £12 for a large, and £1 for 5 mins drying (poorly it would seem) it will cost £15-£18 for a load. UPDATE - I tried it out and a self service large load worked out at £17 to wash and dry. It's cheaper to get a service wash in Nairn for goodness sake. Ridiculous.In Inverness the equivalent machines are £4, £6 and £1 for 7 min (excellent dryers) meaning a load is £6-£9. Even with the price of fuel it's slightly cheaper to drive twice the distance to Inverness than to this laundrette. If I take the train it's £5-£7 cheaper. Shame really

After the first week of our holiday we needed our clothes cleaned and Christine did a fabulous job. We walked in with less than 1-1/2 hours before closing on a Saturday with the store closed on Sundays. Christine said she would get them done for us by closing time and everything turned out great! Thank you for making our holiday that much better!

This is the cheapest launderette around the local area for miles. The washers and dryers are old school, but really get the job done. Dryer minutes and cost are especially generous. Christine who works there is helpful and kind. Would highly recommend using this place.

We had a super king quilt and mattress topper cleaned here. They were done in a couple of hours and the woman was super helpful. Would definitely recommend!

I have been going to Bishopmill Laundrette for 8 months while we are having a house built and don't have a washing machine. Christine is always very helpful and friendly, in spite of often being extremely busy. The charges of £8 and £5 (large and small wash including powder) and £1 for 10 minutes of drying are very reasonable and I would highly recommend.

We have used this Laundry twice now. We are touring the Moray Firth in our motorhome with our dog. We have never used a Laundry before and after calling to ask how it all works, we were met by a really lovely lady (Christine) who was the lady we spoke to on the phone. I was quite nervous about doing this having never done laundrette washes before. I was greated by Christine who instantly put me at my ease. The place was clean and tidy and despite the place being very busy, she took the time to tell me what to do explaining how each machine works and the difference between the small and large loads etc. This lady was helpful, friendly and a total magician! How she manages to juggle all the service washes, walk ins ( including total amateurs like me) is nothing short of miraculous!!! I counted 3 machines out of service two of these were broken the last time I visited.At one point there were at least 7 of us in there doing our own and Christine was juggling machines and service washes to fit us all in. She didn't get frustrated with the lack of machines and she still kept everyone seen to no matter how small or large their loads were. I would give this lady 10 stars for her hard work, positive and friendly, helpful attitude we most definitely would. We can only give 4 stars ( as it's out of 5) this is solely due to the broken machines!We would definitely recommend this place as it was made an easy process to do all down to Christine. We will definitely be back.NOTE TO OWNER: Give this gem of a lady a fighting chance! She is such a credit to your business. It would have been much easier and get potentially more business if all these machines were all working and serviced or even a couple of the older ones replaced.

Visited laundry to ask for service wash. Female attendant never left staff area but was very negative when asked for advice. Shame, as previously staff very helpful. Won't be back.

I was in need of getting some of my clients clothes washed & dried. I popped into this great laundrette I was met with a smile and a very helpful lady who got everything washed dried and my gents shirts ironed for the next day. Fantastic service and very reasonable prices tell them the man in the kilt sent you ;)

Absurdly expensive. I brought £10 with me thinking it would be more than enough for one load of laundry. Turns out, their smallest washer costs £6 and it's £1 for only 5 minutes in the dryer, which is at least another £7 of drying time. I ran out of cash and had to bring a bunch of wet clothes back to my hotel with me to hang on any surface I could find and am praying that they'll be dry enough to pack up this evening when I leave.
