I first met Mary as my yoga instructor for pregnancy yoga. She always allow time to talk us through different pregnancy topics each week. She does listen to us and genuinely cares about her clients. She is the first one to spot that I needed extra help on mental health as sometimes, being pregnant and the sickness that comes with it can be a shock to the system, and women including myself just think that it is just what everyone has to go through and choose to suffer in silence.I also attended one of Mary’s hypnobirthing workshops and subsequently, decided to have a 121 session with her to get a deeper understanding. She tailored her session to our needs and focus on what we wanted, which in turns gave us confidence in the birthing process.Mary was a huge part of my pregnancy journey and what I learnt from Mary helped me a great deal in having the very positive birth experience that I had. I will forever be grateful to Mary for what she’s done for me and she is right all along, positive birth experiences do exist and we just need more people to tell the world about it!

Mary is a knowledgeable and lovely yoga instructor and midwife. Her pregnancy yoga classes are a wonderful combination of gentle movements with a focus on strengthening and stretching. Her yoga for birth workshop was also really empowering and lovely. Always feel more connected to my baby and my body after one of her classes. Highly recommend!

Attended one of Mary's hypnobirthing workshops in preparation for my second birth. Mary has a wonderful and calming presence that can only allow you to feel positive and confident about birth. The whole set up was welcoming as well as very professional. If your considering Mary for any antinatal support, it's well worth the investment and I wouldn't hesitate booking again. Xx

Mary is wonderfully knowledgeable, and offers amazing services for mothers to be, online and in Bristol. Her midwifery, hypnobirthing and yoga knowledge means she can tailor any birth chat or dynamic movement session perfectly for any Mama, I really recommend her offerings.

I was lucky enough to find Mary through my local birth centre. I have now attended a 1:1 baby optimal positioning workshop and a yoga/pregnancy mindful workshop with her. Both of which were fantastic and I cannot recommend being supported by Mary enough. The knowledge Mary holds about women's pregnant bodies and birthing is incredible. I always leave her sessions feeling empowered, knowledgeable and confident about birth and becoming a mother. I will definitely be seeking to work with Mary post natally too. Thank you Mary for all the amazing work you do!

Mary came to our home to provide a 90 minute session on Dynamic Birth preparation. Mary is such a pleasant person as a standard it was so easy to engage with her and we found everything on the course so interesting. We really valued the physical demonstrations and the ability to try things out whilst she was here. We learnt a good amount about the pelvis and movements/positions to help baby progress through labour. We would highly recommended to anyone entering the next phases of labour and birth.

I reached out to Mary after I couldn’t shake the feeling of being ‘passive’ after each of my midwife appointments. No fault of the NHS midwives, but I’d seen a completely different midwife each appointment, felt rushed due to short slot timings and didn’t have the time to ask the questions I wanted to ask.I thought a little 121 time with a midwife might help me to navigate my options in a more comfortable environment (at home) so I could be better informed and truly understand what all my options were.Mary was wonderful and took the time to understand my personal circumstances and concerns in detail. She gave us great feedback on our birth preferences document, which we’ve now incorporated, and gave us the confidence to challenge a delayed referral to the homebirth team too and advised the best approach to do this.We also ran through a couple of ‘biomechanics for birth’ / ‘spinning babies’ style yoga positions which I can practise in my own time to get baby in the optimal position for birth, and practice relaxation too. This was a lot of fun and something I didn’t know much about so really enjoyed learning more!I can highly recommend Mary and would strongly encourage any expectant mother to reach out to her. She’s extremely knowledgeable and experienced and has completely put my mind at ease to feel confident and informed in my choices.Thank you, Mary! Xx

My partner & I attended our first hypnobirthing workshop with the amazing Mary Flynn. We weren't really sure what to expect but we both got so much from this experience. I can not recommend the workshop & Mary enough!.I actually came away from the workshop absolutely buzzing. Feeling a lot more calm, comfortable & confident. And dare I say it excited. It's really made me feel that I'd like to birth in the comfort of my own home. Nik & I spent the evening discussing how we can make the perfect, calm & relaxing environment for labour & it's made me feel really excited about the whole experience. (Fingers crossed!).Mary is so lovely & informative. We had some really insightful & helpful discussions throughout the day. We learnt about the physiology & body mechanics of giving birth. But my favourite was learning about the rezobo techniques that come from Mexico which we intend to do often at home. They felt great!.We also received a lovely goodie bag full of wonderful treats, including a nipple balm (which I've already used & it is delicious!) Made by the wonderful @oyster_and_olive_birth_supportAnd Mary made the BEST BISCUITS EVER & shared the most beautiful affirmation cards I have ever seen..It truly was a wonderful experience & I have the home birth team coming to visit us soon..Thank you so much for your knowledge & inspiration Amy & Nik
