Pots 2 Paint

I took my two boys there (aged 4 and 6) We were made to feel very welcome and had lots of help with how to get the best out of our paints

We sadly had a pretty disappointing experience here. The studio is dreary looking, very small and felt quite cramped. It was also really cold inside even with a small heater in the room which just took up more, already limited space.Any conversations had with the owner was met with a sarcastic, patronising response (including myself being told that we had turned up very early for the session). This was actually incorrect. We arrived at the correct time and I had a text confirmation of the booking which stated this.Additionally, on collection, one of our pieces (which was a birthday present) had cracked in the kiln. We were offered to return to re-do the piece free of charge but as we’ve certainly had much more pleasant pottery painting experiences elsewhere, we won’t be returning.

Been here many times and Steph the owner is brilliantly helpful and so knowledgeable about all things painting and designs. This place is great for expert painters and people just starting out. Steph will help in any way she can and the studio is a relaxed and laid back atmosphere with friendly vibes. Your work is fired in a kiln and is normally ready to collect within 7 days of your visit.

The experience here was okay but I found the owner to be quite stand off ish and you didn't really know where you stood as one minute she would say something quite blunt and the next minute she would be really nice.

Really love atmosphere. Steph was amazing with my 2 year old and very patient with him when we were getting footprints done. She helped him paint his own piece too . 100% reccomend going here if your feeling creative. Good prices lots of variety

Really chilled out atmosphere, lady who runs it very helpful and knowledgeable about ceramics. Great place for kids. Need to book in advance as gets busy. Highly recommend.

Excellent variety of good value ceramics to choose from to make presents, enough space for a small children's party and wonderful guidance from the owner Steph. Really enjoyable experience and I can't wait to pick up our glazed goods!

It's a great place for parties or any occasion, it's great for things to remember specific events, such as a new addition to the family, or moving to a new house. The overall atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff here are always ready to help if you need anything and ready to teach you alternative techniques to paint (when you go, ask about using bubbles to paint). Some people may say that it's expensive, but it isn't, I wouldn't say it's the cheapest thing to do, but you certainly get what you pay for, not just the service, but also the finished product. The only thing I should say is to book in advance, especially on Saturdays and during the half-term.

We loved painting our mugs! There are so many options of items to paint and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Really nice atmosphere! We thought it was affordable too, only slightly more than a mug you would buy in a shop and it's completely unique. We will definitely be going back!
