I found Neil Phillips and the team to be very helpful. He took into account that I required swift timing and even with a very busy schedule came within a couple of days. The report was turned around in a good timely manner with utmost professionalism throughout each step.I would certainly use again!

I would not recommend this company for a building survey. I requested and paid a not insignificant amount for a full and detailed building survey for a house purchase. The survey missed multiple problems that a surveyor should have picked up. This will now cost me thousands in unplanned costs to rectify. Therefore I would not recommend this surveyor to anyone.

Not recommended. The guy, the actual business owner, didn't turn up on the agreed date and the secretary didn't have a clue about his schedule and she said they will call be back with 5 working days; not really helpful. On the second try he turned up fished in 5 minutes as he said most of the work is desktop based. When I received the valuation he stated a property 5 miles from mine in a different town as comparable property! When I highlighted the zoopla has half dozen similar properties listed as sold in the last twelve months he was surprised how good zoopla was. He should be more up-to-date than me. Anyway, the report was stating wrong details about the property and was few typos in it. And finally we haven’t received any receipt.

Not the cheapest and far from the best. survey missed important relevant items that were raised at initial stages. I sought a 2nd opinion which resulted in the purchase not going through . unhelpful service on this occasion and would not recommend.

Wow, cannot recommend Neil highly enough. He has helped us 3 times in the last 6 months. Quick with responses, incredibly accommodating and pleasant to work with. He provided a valuation for us on our Help To Buy property, a further desktop extension and then an urgent valuation! Cannot express our gratitude enough to Neil. An absolute pleasure and the easiest person to work with during the whole process!

Neil is fantastic. Was in a bit of a spot and needed a Valuation quickly. Worth his weight in gold, great communication, and went above and beyond.

Relocating to a new area, we undertook a google search/review of local RICS surveyors. Neil's prompt reply included details of the inspection and examples of the report alongside a competitive fee and his lead time. It appears to be industry practice to pay fees up front, however the day after payment Neil contacted the estate agent and he arranged the survey on the date as agreed.Following the survey, we left a phone message for Neil to call us, which he did promptly. Neil was very pleasant and easy to talk to and explained his findings, including specific areas of concern that we had raised with him prior to the survey. The written report arrived by email within the week and was professional, detailed, easy to read and aligned with the RICS template.Neil can be trusted to provide a good service at a competitive fee.

I have used Phillips & Co for survey and valuation work as well as for investment advice. I have always found their work to be accurate and the service prompt, professional and friendly.I am happy to recommend and without hesitation will use again.

Unhelpful service. Really didn't seem at all interested in listening to my enquiry. I found another surveyor who really cared and was very helpful, unlike these! UPDATE/RESPONSE TO REPLY - This has nothing to do with coronavirus, unless it can be caught over the phone! The owner was unhelpful and clearly could not be bothered even to discuss it. It is not true that they 'pointed me to other help'.
