Great place to enjoy the sunshine and catchup.The Orchard is a small but pleasant pub located in Preston indoor market with a plethora of options in beer and gin.Simple interiors with innumerable coasters adorned on the walls give this joint a welcoming vibe.We had an interesting blueberry pastry stout called Muffin else matters and a hazy pale ale called Steady Rolling man.Refreshing flavours.The bartender was courteous, helpful and offered us a sample helping us choose our drink.With no television/screen competing for your attention, this seems like good place to catch up and converse.Recommended!

Lovely little tap room nestled in the market area.Lots of good beers on offer and the lady serving at the bar was really friendly.It was a pretty cold day when we visited and they had heaters on which kept the bar lovely and warm. There's an outdoor are with extra seating.I chose the lambic, which was a stunning beer and my wife has a mango Lilley's cider.

Really like this bar. Comfortable if sparse surroundings but always a warm welcome and fantastic beers.

Jorvic was surprised how small Preston Market is compared to local Lancashire towns. Luckily this CAMRA Good Beer Guide bar is situated here; twixt inside and outside halves. Madge was surprised only one real ale ready out of two handpumps. Still, a good pint of Wilde Child blond ale. Small warm interior drinks area plus covered outside area..more popular in summer.
