Peterborough City Council

I ranged for asking about any support or guidance for a talented children from council, the lady answered phoned was extremely rude and behaved very unprofessional. It would be better to hire someone more well mannered and know how to treat with clients. She wasn’t helpful. Very disappointing the council doesn’t have any support for these special children and how much they are important.

Popped into the Town Hall today to drop off my dad's Blue Badge documents and couldn't have had better service from Wilson and another gentleman on the reception desk (sorry didn't get his name). They were both so polite and helpful and Wilson went out of his way to assist two other visitors. Wow! Thank you.

When is the council going to use our council tax to repair the sidewalks in town .......I have fallen because they have ups and downs....When are they also going to build some toilets..... A city with so many hotels and not one toilet in the city .....

I’m coming out of care soon and going in was through no problem of my own. I’ve recently had a problem trying to find somewhere to go and I spoke to this woman on the phone here and she was so disgustingly rude to me. She spoke to me as if it was my fault and told me that they wouldn’t register me for homelessness because it’s basically not their job and that it’s my councils to do it even though my education and me reside here. I’m only 17 and it’s scary and there was no empathy, understanding or care and she made me feel even worse. I don’t like them

I have just contacted the council about our brown bin collection. Last time they didn't bother emptying it, I called the Council and I was advised to report it in case it happens again. Today, my husband chased them literally and forced them to empty the bin. The council's response to my question what will happen with this ridiculous situation ( obviously we work and our job is not chasing the guys to empty our bins) was epic! Madam we cannot predict the future! After that I remained speechless!

Absolutely shambolic I am a single person working two jobs tried applying for the single person discount and backdating payments only to be told that I haven’t filled the right application form so I sat on the phone for a hour with an advisor who showed me the right form only to be told today I haven’t filled the right form in and that if any payments were to be made then it would be in 10 weeks funny how when they want payments from us tho it needs to be straight away. I understand in the current climate it must be busy but I would appreciate some sort of help to get this sorted

Staff seem to forget to log in to their emails as they NEVER respond even when Peterborough’s mental health team contact on my behalf. Absolute joke! I wonder why there are so many homeless people cluttering our streets?! Because these people are responsible for housing!!

They only want to help people with children (which Is fair enough) people that come out of jail, people with disabilities and mental health or people age over 55 anything else they don’t care about,trying to get just one council home one home for myself been bidding since 2013 homeless anxiety depressed about rough sleeping not having a place to take my 3 kids and they still won’t help,my caseworker she obviously doesn’t understand,all I want is one home I’m not asking for much and I’m not going to give my self severe mental health start taking heavy drugs just to get a council home I shouldn’t have to take that road just to get one council home to give myself and my kids a future ,if any can help would be nice

Cut as many services as it can to make for their mismanagement of funds and dubious deals. Bosses of the council pay themselves high wages for poor quality work.
