This is not the best of the National Trust, there's Coleshill Mill that is open every second Sunday of the month – 2pm-5pm from April to October (except April, when it is open on Sunday 16th) – and will be in use when water levels permit. and WW2 bunkers, The wartime history walk is currently once a month, and you must go to national trusts events page to book yourself a space, would be alright if they opened the same day, there is some signs about to see some buildings, but when you get to them they say no entry private residents, and there was nobody around the farm yard, you didn't no if you could just walk around it or not, (big doors were both open on both sides) there was a small cafe just inside, but that was shut, (it was early) there are lots of walks to take, there is over 400 acres, there's also a organics place that sells fruit and veg boxes, you can park on the road around the farm yard, plenty of room.

Visited as a helper on a school trip - amazing volunteer led activities, beautiful surroundings & tonnes of wildlife. The mill was really interesting & I want to come back for the traditional craft workshops at some point!

We went and did the guided tour of the military areas of Coleshill, the walk around and the guide were excellent. The Op (observation post ) was set up really well and I enjoyed the experience of climbing into it and getting out through the escape tunnel.

Such a beautiful location ran by fantastic volunteers and an ideal place for a primary school trip to learn about the nature around us. Has an amazing old mill, that's at least 1000 years old, to visit too- if you're lucky enough to catch it on the day in the month it's open to the public!

Lovely place for a walk. Did the red walk, was very muddy! Cafe is lovely too. Nice to see the estates creating lots of walking routes.

I'm lucky to live near Coleshill and it's probably my favourite local place to visit. I love walking and running there but recently the National Trust have made fantastic improvements to accessibility and facilities. This week I visited with my children to take part in the family river dipping activity. Just £5 per child and we were taken on a nature walk along the bank of the River Cole before the children got to spend 45 minutes with a net investigating in the river. Lots of tiny fish, pond skaters and shrimp gathered before being returned safely back to their habitat. Returning to the barn the children each wove a willow fish. Even on a drizzly afternoon it was a really pleasing past time.
