Great food when it came disgusting that it took just over 50 minutes for a jacket potato and some scampi and chips it wasnt even that busy we had drank our drinks that took 10 minutes to get to us and were cool not hot very un impressed will not be returning any time soon

Quick stop off late morning on a weekday. Staff were pleasant, the female member of staff took great pride in preparing me my hot chocolate, despite the fact it was a freebie via an email from Tesco Clubcard.Nice, laid back place, plenty of delicious light eats and gorgeous looking cakes, reasonably priced.

The hygiene here is disgusting. We waited for ages in the queue and did not seem that busy. The lady behind the till said she had a hair in her mouth and started putting her fingers in her mouth and the continued to serve and touch the till. Then she went and served food carrying out food to customers.There was a 30 minute wait just for any food which we ended up not getting any plus we was put off what we had witnessed prior to ordering.We ordered hot drinks instead and the tea spoon that was bought out on the tray was disgusting. It was covered in what looked like soggy green parsley which was not hard to miss.Would avoid and not return. Serious hygiene issues.

Worst visit I have ever had to a Tesco Cafe. I was a Tesco manager for 40 years so know how it works. I would never have left my store or department in such a poor state, but apparently the Manager had just left when we arrived so could not be spoken too. We left without eating as an hour wait for food, only one girl on till and drinks, with not the best attitude, although left to deal with all the disgruntled customers alone. Very poor for Tesco.

Waited 20 minutes for toast, understand it was busy but all it needs is to be advised of possible wait time as they do things in order of service instead of popping toast in whilst waiting for breakfasts to be done. If I knew it would be a while I would have just had a drink not felt like there was poor service. I will know in future not to use this cafe if under time constraints

Where to begin!If you enjoy carrying your pram up the stairs, this is the place for you. Enjoy holding your bladder, this is the place to go.If you enjoy a service without a smile and for them to forget your order, Tesco Hanley Café have you covered.Enjoy watching your own plate of food being slammed on the table in front of your own eyes, you're in for a treat.Oh, is you're happy to chase your order for them to forget it, there is no better place than Tesco Café.How about getting a completely different image of the food/drink that is advertise? Once again, Tesco -Every Little Helps.An absolute embarrassment of a café, from service straight to toilets.Just go Sainsburys.

Popped in for breakfast while waiting for the museum to open, the coffee was nicely presented, staff were very pleasent and the toast and egg on toast was good. It was quite early Saturday morning and so was fairly quiet which is how we preferred it.

Total trash, Went in after pulling a 9 hour shift thinking a nice fry up would set me right before i head to bed. Ended up paying £10 for a £5 breakfast because the girl on the till decided me asking for a big breakfast ment she could just add whatever she liked to my order. What I ended up with is roughly a £5 breakfast anywhere else in hanley and a left over piece of black pudding which is fin disgusting yet was added to my bill.Not goings back and going to bad mouth the place to everyone I talk to.
