Host Southampton Crossings

Had an amazing stay for this past year. Amenities and facilities are new and very clean. Students are well attended at all times. Staff is super friendly and ready to help at all times. (Special thanks to Alfonso!)

The heating system in the room was completely useless. It turned off automatically after 5 minutes. I was frreze at night, so I bought myself a warmer but next day, reception broke into my room and went through my locker said I must hand in my warmer. How can I live in a room without any warmer in winter? This is so disgusting.

Truth be told, the experience of living in crossings before this year was quite good. However, from this year onwards, crossings switched to a new heating system in the name of saving energy. The new heating system is a nightmare, it shuts down automatically in less than an hour in very cold weather, no matter how low the temperature is in the room, it will not work again unless you switch it on manually. This has caused me to wake up in the cold at night and I have caught several colds as a result. I have spoken to the front desk several times about this issue and they have been unwilling to address it, not caring about the occupants or allowing me to use additional heaters to maintain my health. They believe enough in their system to completely ignore the actual living experience! If you are a parent of a student, I hope you see this and don't allow your child to live here in the winter and freeze!

Easy 5 stars! Had an amazing year living here. Staffs are super friendly and helpful! Location is absolutely perfect, bus stops are a short walking distance, not to mention, the train stain & coach station are near as well! City Centre and all Universities campuses are also very convenient to commute to from here. Excellent facilities as well, with a gym, karaoke room, roof-top kitchen and open area, and a really great communal area with a pool table to socialize and meet new people. Personal experience from living in an en-suite, I found it comfortable and cosy and it comes with a modern kitchen. The building is well managed and maintained which truly creates a very safe and fun environment to live in! Although the price might be intimidating, if the financial capacity is able, I would say its worth it! Highly recommended!

Been living at Southampton Crossings for several years now, all the staff are amazing and welcoming, the facilitates are great and very clean. Rooms are a good size. Would recommend Southampton Crossings to any students coming to study at Solent or University of Southampton.

I had a fantastic experience at this student accommodation! The rooms were modern and comfortable, the common areas were spacious and well-maintained, and the location was ideal for both studying and socializing. The friendly staff made me feel at home, and the sense of community among fellow students was a great bonus. Overall, a top-notch choice for student living. I would recomend it to any students looking for a place in Southamton.

A very nice place to stay, very clean and crisp, literally a new building, loads of shops just a short walk away, residents of the building do their own thing and are friendly.Had a great time there my only annoyance was the parking situation as I got a parking ticket even though I paid for one for 30 minutes! this was after 6 minutes, please be careful as the wardens are actively watching people, my mistake was I parked in a motorcycle bay which wasn't clear, I will be fighting this, there is a multi storey car park which is pretty expensive daily but overnight works out to between £7-8, remember from 1800 - 0800 it is free so try and come after then after day trips, our room wasn't cleaned for over a week which was disappointing as we had to almost store our rubbish in one corner but were charged a cleaning fee, we did have one or two issues but they were sorted out quick by the onsite engineers, we stayed the week when it got extremely hot, we asked for a fan because we realised there was no air conditioning in the apartment so went out to purchase our own fan, they were sold out everywhere! the building took days to cool down, price was ok, room is ok for two adults but is a bit of a squeeze on the bed (we are not large in size), other then that a good stay.
