Darwen Market

Very nice and welcoming people. A great market x with plenty of stalls and lots of different variety of businesses the butchers and Maggies food hub, aswell as the cafe are amazing are very nice people so come on down, we also have a new auction shop and a new kids play area x we need more amazing businesses let's make the town thrive. X

A nice peaceful market town with all the shops you need to get by. Plenty of parking all the way up along the street and wide pavements to walk on. Nice town to visit if you are in Blackburn

I am disappointed with this place. On Good Friday, when working people have time off and could do some shopping, the market hall is closed. I really liked shopping at the stand with vegetables and fruits, but for a few years the owners have come up with the idea that customers cannot have access to their products and have separated themselves from people with tables. In every grocery store you can choose your own carrots, cabbage or apples, but in the market hall it is the opposite. If sellers from this market hall will have such an approach to the customer, their income will not increase. Well, the market hall is closed today, you have to go to Tesco and let them earn money.

Lovely market has lots of different stalls I visited the gift emporium some great Christmas thing's nice birthday cards staff friendly and helpful.

It is always a delight to visit Darwen Market on a weekday morning. There is a wide range of local produce and home made food on offer as well as local craftsmen offering their skills. Just a pity that high rents have squeezed out many traders and left numerous empty stalls.

The building Its self is beautiful and it has a free carpark. Unfortunately the actual market needs some work. Lots of stalls empty. Not a very good variety. I didn't buy a single thing when i visited and not likely to go in again
