Woodside Coastal Retreat

Lovely location. We had a sea view one.Hob was faulty, replaced it the next day.Hot tub was great.A few fixtures and fittings were worn out or broken, just could do with a completely full maintenance check.Easy access to the pebbled beachHad a great time though.

Park is well kept. Lodges are not. They are beyond tired and need replacing.

Just visited friends that were staying in a lodge. Lodge was lovely spacious, clean and well designed. The site itself was well kept, beautifully landscaped with fantastic views. The small beach/foreshore was lovely, private and great place for a stroll and swim. All staff seemed friendly and were helpful.

Very poor experience mainly because of how filthy the accommodation was, which made it a very uncomfortable stay, with a young child and a baby. Lodge 14 had clean beds but that was about it. The floor was probably never scrubbed. Stains on walls and ceiling, the furniture was sticky to touch, including the dining table, filthy windows, a cigar wrapper found in one corner, filthy light switches and door handles, nails found in bedroom. Very tired furniture. The bathrooms smelled so terribly that some is us felt sick. We had to open the skylights to air them which were probably never cleaned either. incredibly expensive for such conditions. Someone, somewhere is making a lot of money when they simply don’t care about the condition of the place. We have paid same amount for far better accommodation elsewhere. Will not be coming back and do not recommend it, especially to families with children. The place was so dirty it is simply unsafe.

Had a lovely pre Christmas weekend away with the family. Great accommodation and surroundings. Sea view was limited to a small gap from lodge 16c and cleaning could be a little better finished. Would definitely go back and stay in one of the beach side lodges.

Overall, it was acceptable only for the fact that we got lucky with a lodge with good views. Otherwise the room wasn't ready on time, don't think of getting there before 4pm in the hope that a room will be available. Ours was ready 30 mins after check in time. Our lodge absolutely stank, made me feel sick. Credit to the staff who came within an hour and changed the fridge out. One of the bathrooms smelled bad so used the other one the whole time. Parking spaces are tight. Road up to the site is incredibly bumpy. Decent seafront to walk on when the tide goes out.

The staff and facilities were excellent. The cost for one doge is excessive. Reasonable value for money. The hot tub was amazing. If I was honest we think the cabin (C32) was very tired and it's excessive use showed, although new carpets were in the bedrooms the rest of the accommodation was worn but very presentable. We understand the cabins are in the process of being revitalised

Great place to stay with lovely dog friendly lodges to suit many different sizes of parties... restaurant prices slightly too high so eating out is a far better option

Currently on a 7 day break in an Osborne Premier lodge. Views across the Solent are outstanding. Love the hot tub.. Lovely location - nice and quiet which is just what we needed for a week off work. The lodge is tired in places but super clean and didn’t / wouldn’t put us off. Been to the Isle of Wight many times and can’t believe we have only just found this place. The staff on arrival were SO lovely and helpful. Just jealous of their daily office looking across the Solent each day! We will definitely be back!!!

Absolutely beautiful place.Lodge was clean and tidy.Struggled to get really hot water on a daily basis.Lovely view of the solent everyday from the Lodge.We worked out that if you don't put shower and taps on full it comes out hotter.Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need.Apart from Tea, coffee , sugar and milk.We have had a lovely 4 night break.Would definitely be back.
